Good Family - Good Food!
Wow! What a find! Fantastic food, great prices, generous portions, a clean deck with views and best of all wonderful service! Camilo, our waiter, was delightful. Can’t wait to visit again (and again). ??
This week-end past found this restaurant gem. Very good food with a large menu of items. Very Tasty margs., my wife and I got different ones to taste the difference and we could. Large portions, you should know before you order, and fried ice-cream for desert. They make there own tamales on site. Very good service, especially in these times when all the restaurants seem to be short handed. We visit several times a year so will now add Mi Mexico to our must go to list.

Mi Mexico Family Mexican restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its generous portions of delicious Mexican cuisine. The carne asada and veggie fajitas are popular choices, with the veggie fajitas being noted as a revelation and big enough for two at a low price. Accompanied by fresh tortillas, the salsa is spicy and amazing, praised for its excellent flavor. The Ultimate Margarita is a big serving that's not watered down, and the pollo asado Burrito is fresh and not greasy. Churros are a must-try. The service is exceptional, with friendly and fast staff, creating a great atmosphere that is described as Mexico-funky at its best.
The Molcajete is one of the best dishes, with plenty of food for two people. The margaritas are also a generous portion, especially the grande, and reasonably priced. The salsa and chips are extremely tasty and have a nice kick. The fried ice cream, however, comes out cold instead of freshly fried as promised. Overall, it's a solid choice in Ouray, with excellent food and good service, though the host could be a bit more welcoming towards customers using coupons.
