My family is from the upper east coast, and we've been condotioned to be really picky about our subs. Tgis has probably been the closest if not the same as what we grew up on and grew to love, absolutely amazing stuff!
This place is fantastic.. if you wanted a sandwich and you went someplace else you messed up badly, it's as simple as that.
I got the plant-based turkey without cheese and without mayo. It was great, if slightly dry without condiments, but overall very satisfying.
My boyfriend got the Impossible cheesesteak without cheese, which was tasty but a bit underseasoned. Doctoring it with salt, pepper, and ketchup improved it, and if we ordered it again, we would ask to add sweet or hot peppers for extra flavor.
