“So I have lived in south Denver for over 20 years, in my opinion JDs has the best bartenders around; seriously! You never go dry and have to fish for eye contact for next drink, you know what i mean! Dave and Eric are top notch. “Not sure why this place gets bad reviews. I am staying in the hotel and had dinner at the bar in a Sunday night. It was rather busy. Service was great and the food was shockingly delicious. I had the grilled salmon with fingerling and broccolini. Bar seating was fine w me. I posted up in the corner next to the wall and it felt cozy. The desserts are made in house. I had strawberry shortcut and took it to my room. Very good.“

“I was here a couple of years ago, and it was dark, dingy and dirty. I saw that it was reopened and I came in and it is now nice and clean: a good solid bar with lots of TVs and a lot of neighborhood people. Lots of cowboy and farmer types. Nice friendly staff: the Broncos scored and they came around with free Jell-O shots. Good selection of beers on tap and in cans. I can’t speak for the food this time, but I’ll be back to eat. There are some pool tables here too.“
