“Stopped in to check it out for the first time. Awesome dive bar. Good atmosphere, clean, good service, and good people. My girlfriend and I had a great time. They've got two people tables and plenty of seating. Definitely going to be our new local spot to hang out at.“

“Warm nicely finished woodwork provides a welcoming historic atmosphere. Our experience was 100% on their patio which is a leftover COVID make-shift tent with zero ambiance however well protected from the weather elements in the unlikely event there’s a bad weather in a place with 300+ days of sunshine. Burgers and sandwiches are tops with your own table try of condiments provided. Drink selection is extensive and mixed well along with a wide variety of good beer choices. Service was great though we were pushed to leave far too quickly without even a mention of dessert even though they were well aware that was our visit purpose nor a apology they had no dessert or cup of coffee. Atmosphere inside historic and warm, outside no more than a camping tent. Food - Excellent sandwiches and burgers. Service- Good though pushed to leave very quickly. Price - Average.“

“Great place for a great cause! Wonderful and cozy place to relax during church night and after a hard day at work or to finish studying/work. Great food and drinks of all kinds! Nice toddler play area and Frontier Park is right next to it right along the Platte River.“

“The front range are very welcoming with travelers. They let you park over night if you spend a bit inside. We went, we really liked everything. The staff was very warm, the food was delicious and not expensive, we watch sport event. It was a perfect night.“

“Great authentic Irish pub with reasonable prices and a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Maggie behind the bar was incredible and really helped to make my stay in Denver as positive as possible, even providing some local suggestions for dinner nearby (unfortunately they don't have a kitchen). I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers looking to feel welcomed like a local.“

“Hunter was amazing, super attentive and somehow managed to quickly attend to every guest on a full Saturday night, it was our first time here and we will definitely be returning based off of the service we experienced tonight. Wonderful pool tables my only critique would be moving the darts to another location as they are too close to the left side table.“

“The love shack does have a kitchen. I have yet to try anything from the kitchen, but Mary the one that is running it seems to have a set menu for the kitchen. Other than that the bar is fully stocked and Pool Tables are ready to rock ‘n’ roll on.“
“Best neighborhood bar around! Not quite a dive bar and definitely not a fancy place for fancy drinks. Most days include a great food truck right out front and large patio out back.“

“love coming to Jake's on any day! I especially love going there on Thursday and Friday nights for karaoke and every other Tuesday for open Mic night! the staff is fabulous, drinks are fair-priced, enclosed patio, upfront parking for bikes. The food is better than any bar I've ever eaten at. (any of the cheese steaks) love this place!“

“Came here to watch the France v Spain World Cup semi final. I think we were the firsts to walk in. I know they were busy expecting a large crowd, but being a semi regular at the Londoner in Dallas, I was super disappointed at the service and food. There was no one there when we arrived, they were rude when I arrived and asked which PL matches they usually showed. Nothing serious but just NOT the atmosphere that I’m used to.
The fish and chips were decent and I was disappointed in what Cider they had on tap. ESPECIALLY, since it’s a British pub.
Atmosphere was great when the game started.“

“As far as actual bartenders, they are the best in all of RINO in my opinion.
By bartender I mean they will make you anything with reason if they have it. Personality seems to be a qualification here too. Everyone I've talked to has the ability if gab on any subject.
Also solid music anytime I go in.“
“This place is an absolute hidden gem! Loved coming here to get drinks and due to it being tucked away it wasn’t insanely packed. Is open to the public as well as the residents of The Patterson Inn. The Old Fashions were definitely my highlight of ordering drinks and I’m not very much of an old fashion type of guy! Cool atmosphere and talked to the owner (Chris) and we talked about his smoke lounge he’s making in the basement and everything that goes into it, it was great and interesting stuff to learn and talk about!“

“Come for the variety, stay for the rooftop views. Hands down the best & cheapest taco Tuesday I've found in the city. Hard to beat 1$ fully loaded tacos. Another favorite of mine is their half priced fish & chips Fridays. Whether you're coming to cheer on your favorite team, watch the world cup, or just want an evening to have dinner and read. This is the spot in a stellar location on Broadway“

“If you’re looking for the kind of place that instantly feels like your neighborhood home base, Doghouse Tavern absolutely nails it. Tucked away in Denver, this spot is the definition of a true local gem—unpretentious, welcoming, and packed with personality.
First off, the food is way above typical pub fare. We’re talking juicy, flavor-packed burgers, crispy wings with a variety of sauces, and comfort food classics like nachos, fish and chips, and loaded sandwiches. Everything comes out clearly made with care—it’s the kind of menu where you’ll want to come back just to try everything. Elena is the best cook.
The staff deserves fanfare. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to see you walk through the door, they create that rare vibe where you feel like a regular—even on your first visit. Service is fast, drinks stay full, and there’s always someone ready with a smile, a casual conversation, or a recommendation.
And then there’s the atmosphere—pure neighborhood magic. It’s laid-back and lively at the same time, with pool tables, TVs for the game, fire-place patio, and a crowd that’s there to relax and have a good time. The dog-friendly patio is the best and everything gives that authentic, community-driven feel that’s hard to fake.
But what really sets Doghouse Tavern apart is its local culture and entertainment. This isn’t just a bar—it’s a gathering place. Whether it’s karaoke night (which is always a blast), trivia, or just a packed evening of locals unwinding together, there’s a sense of connection here you don’t find in bigger, flashier venues. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends over a song and a drink.“

“Enjoyed the food and drinks, played a couple games of shuffle board until the bartender “kindly” came up and accused my spouse of “staring” at women at the bar when he was watching the sports game on tv behind their head. The women and bartender then became extremely hostile and rude as we were trying to figure out what the problem was kind you this was 2 pm on a Saturday….one of the weirdest most uncomfortable situations I’ve ever experienced and won’t be back“
“This is a bit out of date, but wanted to give a huge shoutout to the team, but especially Monica and Sylvia, who helped me create space for a 50-person gathering, bring us drinks, and manage the bar bill throughout to make sure we didn't overspend, all with ~1 hour of notice. They were so gracious and anticipated every need. Highly recommend!“

“I go here for karaoke on Fridays often! It’s a great spot and draws a cool and fun crowd. It’s a good range of talent so even beginners can feel comfortable and the DJ is awesome. The bartenders are super nice people and great to chat with, especially Brendan and Claire.“

“this bar was amazing! all of the staff were friendly, the djs played great music, but i have to brag on your security guard. I didn't catch his name but he made being in a bar alone as a woman feel safe. He watched my drink for me when I had to take care of a friend, he made sure I made it to the Uber safely, he even made a guy leave that was making my friend and I uncomfortable. He went above and beyond what his job was. Every time I go to Denver, i will stop by. thank you, sir, whatever your name is.“

“Devin provided excellent service at the bar and was very helpful throughout our visit. SHe made great recommendations for both food and beer selections, which really improved our experience. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this bar.“
“While trying to improve my basics, I find this to be a great atmosphere for learning. Great instructors, as well as some Intermediate and advanced dancers who are willing to dance with you while you're growing. Just overall great experience of salsas and bachata“

“When my friend comes back in town for a visit, we alternate between different bars to get our group of Cowboys fans together. Choppers has been on that rotation for years, depending on the time of the game and who else is playing. This place gets packed! It's normal for sports bars to be packed on game day but something about this layout makes it feel especially crowded. It's loud, again, not uncommon. Sometimes the service is a little slow, nothing that's annoying and everything that's understanding when it's busy. We usually go for wings or nachos and order pitchers because of our group size. It's good portions, if a little pricier than other places. The crowds are usually friendly and enthusiastic, which makes it a fun environment for sports fans. For a change-up from downtown, this is a good place to consider.“

“This Irish pub is really nice! Ruben’s food is great, and the thousand island perfect sauerkraut was fantastic. The beer cheese soup was wonderful. It’s more of a bar that serves food than a restaurant, as it was advertised. We had a relaxing time sitting outside. The outdoor seating is busy and rustic, so it’s better for a group of younger drinkers than a diner. The service was a little spotty, but that’s not surprising on a slow Sunday night. We had a nice time and a good meal, and I would recommend stopping by.“
