Whataburger receives mixed reviews regarding its service speed, but consistent praise for its food quality and friendly staff. Several customers report long waits at the drive-thru and for orders, with one party experiencing a half-hour delay. However, other visits highlight fast service, especially during early hours like 6 a.m. The food is consistently described as fresh, hot, delicious, and reminiscent of old style burgers, with specific mention of the spicy ketchup. Staff members are repeatedly noted as polite, sweet, super friendly, genuine, and helpful, with one cashier giving every customer a most friendly welcome. The restaurant is also commended for being extremely clean. While mistakes like a forgotten cheese on a kids burger happen, staff are quick to remake orders. Overall, it is considered by some to be the best Whataburger visited in a long time.
