They get some of the best bands here and the food is amazing for a bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and usually plenty of seating if you get there before the band starts. Happy to have this venue on the west side of town!“

“I have been eating at the Hornet for years since I work in the area, and it is so consistently fun and yummy. Even if you show up late at night when it's really crowded the service is great. It's a really laid back fun atmosphere with way better-than-average sandwiches and plates. If you're ever looking for food on South Broadway I would definitely recommend it.

I found the Scotch Egg to be a little anemic yolk wise, but the sausage was perfect and it was browned just as I expected. I imagine it's busier if the Premier League is going on, but they did at least have some college football going on. All in all, worth the visit!“

“Great old neighborhood bar! Not even a hint of chain restaurants! Near Ft Logan, so it became a gathering spot for family ahead of a weekday service there.

The simple menu is well executed, and I had the Colorado Sunrise burger cooked to a perfect medium rare. Very tasty!! The whole crew of 13 enjoyed their food, and the staff gave us great service right through our surprise early rush.“

I didn't catch his name but he made being in a bar alone as a woman feel safe. He watched my drink for me when I had to take care of a friend, he made sure I made it to the Uber safely, he even made a guy leave that was making my friend and I uncomfortable. For me, It was exciting to see this long time Established neighborhood staple Still Open!! The sentimental nostalgia mixed with curiosity lured me in. It was around 10 pm on a weekend evening, at about half capacity, it felt as if i was among mostly regulars, the Pool Tables were all occupied, the beer was ICE? cold!???The Bartender was friendly, very aware, and professional! ?‍??Prices were what is expected in today's market. I would come back for the service alone!? If you're in the neighborhood stop in for a cold one! I will always choose to support my local small businesses first when i have a choice.“
