I was sat on the outer part of the restaurant, which was lovely and open and bright (perfect for me to read while I ate). “Great old neighborhood bar! Not even a hint of chain restaurants! Near Ft Logan, so it became a gathering spot for family ahead of a weekday service there.

“Out of state visitor. Was in the area and ended up here to unwind and play pool. Very laidback dive, just what I love in a bar. Elsie took great care of us. Friends and I played several rounds of pool unbothered and had great cheap drinks in the meantime. Would recommend to anyone looking for a chill, old school pool hall.“

“We sat on the mist cooling roof top patio, very comfortable. Ordered the Friday special, fish and chips. They were lightly breaded cod and very good. The service was friendly, recommended a good beer which was also good and tried an egg roll! with their own green chili which surprisingly was very good and spicy! I didn't catch his name but he made being in a bar alone as a woman feel safe. He watched my drink for me when I had to take care of a friend, he made sure I made it to the Uber safely, he even made a guy leave that was making my friend and I uncomfortable. He went above and beyond what his job was. Every time I go to Denver, i will stop by. thank you, sir, whatever your name is.“

“Enjoyed the food and drinks, played a couple games of shuffle board until the bartender “kindly” came up and accused my spouse of “staring” at women at the bar when he was watching the sports game on tv behind their head. The women and bartender then became extremely hostile and rude as we were trying to figure out what the problem was kind you this was 2 pm on a Saturday….one of the weirdest most uncomfortable situations I’ve ever experienced and won’t be back“

“I used to live in this area over 20 years ago. Back then, this place was "THE Place" to go after a long day at work. For me, It was exciting to see this long time Established neighborhood staple Still Open!! The sentimental nostalgia mixed with curiosity lured me in. It was around 10 pm on a weekend evening, at about half capacity, it felt as if i was among mostly regulars, the Pool Tables were all occupied, the beer was ICE? cold!???The Bartender was friendly, very aware, and professional! ?‍??Prices were what is expected in today's market. I would come back for the service alone!? If you're in the neighborhood stop in for a cold one! I will always choose to support my local small businesses first when i have a choice.“
