Mainly because majority of the workers in snowmass work till 11 or midnight and it would be cool to have a place to go other than Zane's. Rock Island has the same issue. “This place is a gem! It is in a perfect sitting within the mall and carries a simple but purposeful vibe. It smells wonderful, like you were back at home, waiting on Sunday Supper when you enter. Definitely not fancy, but the staff quickly greets you with a warm friendly welcome smile and some great tips on what to expect. It seems like they are only willing to hype up whatever they are serving in a modest way, because they seem to really enjoy the over-the-top reactions that will follow, once the meal is served.

Seriously, I had a cup of their clam chowder, and a bowl of the Habanero Chile and pork stew, with sliced bread and butter. Wow! The clam chowder was very good, but that stew was super delicious.

It was so good, we had to go back the next evening to do it all over again. This time I ordered the Chicken and sausage stew, which was also delicious. I would have gone a third night, if I didn’t have to get back to So Cal the next morning.

The prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly, prompt and professional. I highly recommend this place and just pray they will be open when I return in October.“
