Steeps offers the best atmosphere in the area, with a bright, warm room perfect for watching sports on the many TVs, plus outdoor seating when the weather permits. The food is delicious and very affordable, with consistent quality. The Philly uses amoroso rolls, showing a desire to be authentic, and the fries are great. The steak tacos were the bomb, and freddys tacos are literally the best taco on this planet, best with freddy hot sauce. The gumbo is damn good, and the ribeye sandwich and burgers are really good. The draft selections are great, with a nice beer selection. Service is always excellent, with waitresses who are nice and get to know regulars. It is a great casual joint right across the street from the airport, very convenient for a meal to go. The atmosphere is peaceful and a great place to unwind after work. It is a little pricey but nothing in this town is cheap.
