“We stopped in for nostalgia sake (we got engaged at Devil’s Thumb 26 years ago) and stayed for lunch on the deck overlooking the valley. The service was excellent, as was the food. We had the wagyu cheeseburger, tips and dips appetizer, ugly tomato salad and the wedge. Beautifully presented. Special shout out to Maicon and Ty for taking care of us. Thank you!“

“To start their was some confusion with getting 9 seated. They got it figured out and all worked out just fine. However, if it wasn’t a weeknight I do not think it would have been possible. We ordered ahi tuna ceviche, lobster tacos and surf + turf tacos …. Everyone really enjoyed. Strawberry Fresca was delicious (nice to have a yummy drink option that’s non alcoholic). No kids menu but waiter was super accommodating, recommended less spicy menu items, and even made some chicken tenders for part of our group. Will definitely come back.“

“I wish I could give Idlewild 10 stars! Best vegan food we have had in a while! We got the shishito peppers, the vegan sliders, the vegan ravioli, and the vegan chocolate mousse. The chef is vegan and even came out to greet us! We also got several drinks, my husband got alcoholic mixed drinks and I got their mocktails. All of the drinks were super good! The vibe was super cool as well! Best place to eat in Grand County! We will definitely be back!“

“Have played here several times over the last 3 years. It is target golf for a lot of the holes but it is a fair layout with opportunity to score. The greens and the pin positions will challenge you especially if the groundskeeper was in a bad mood. Overall a very delightful golf experience.“
