“The Rotary Club of Fort Collins Breakfast wants to thank and recommend The Welsh Rabbit to the people of Fort Collins. In Jan 16th we had our yearly Old Town Progressive dinner where our members go to three locations together-appetizers then a main course then for coffee. Our event organizer members showed up to our first venue and saw a sign that said “closed due to furnace issues”. It was 16 degrees out and 47 members were set to arrive in 30 minutes. The organizers started asking stores if they could host us. The second store we asked was The Welsh Rabbit. They allowed us in and we were in for a treat. Their cheezes were amazing, the ambience so pleasant and many of our members lined up to purchase items. They saved our evening. This store is an example of the heart of Fort Collins! We thank them so very much for what they did for us. Give this business a try! If you need gourmet items, dine wines and delicious cheeses for any event then why he Welsh Rabbit is where you need to visit!“

I’m writing this review 9 hours later and I still can’t stop thinking about how I wish I ordered 2 instead of 1. Parking: If the lot is full, you can park across the street by the hardware store.

Kid-friendliness: I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of kids running around at the bar, but the outside area provides plenty of room for that if it's your thing.“

“So much to do here. The Gaku Ramen shop is awesome and Transmissions Arcade bar was a unique and fun experience. The downtown had many shops, food vendors, restaurants, and places to sit and enjoy. I highly encourage visiting the capital building and engaging in understanding the history and what the area is about. Have loads of fun!!!“

My husband wrote on an old receipt "Shhh....sleeping baby" in the hope that they would not wake our gremlin. Not only did the person who came to our window take our order through whispers, but also went back inside and had them turn down the music so when we got to the window it wouldn't wake the baby. This is how you get return customers who are loyal to your store!“

“We're driving through Fort Collins and looking for a place to sit outside with our dogs and have a beer. Downtown was crazy and no parking. On the way back to the hotel we ran across Peculiar. Plenty of parking, great beer selection and the food truck, outside, was great! I recommend the Cuban fries but all sound good. If you want a great place and still be able to park and not wait long for a table, this is the place. Beer is great. Bar tender is hot. Just an added bonus.“

“We had a fantastic time at Penrose Taphouse for New Year's Eve with our two kids (8 and 5). The atmosphere was perfect-relaxed and just the right vibe for a chill, close-to-home celebration. I had the grilled salmon, which was delicious, and my husband enjoyed the Hanks Hot Honey fried chicken. For drinks, I had the Mule-Berry, which was made with vodka, strawberries, lime, and ginger beer. It was refreshingly balanced, not too sweet, which was a nice surprise. We loved every second of it and can’t wait to return!“

We had the chicken sandwich (enormous and delicious), the roasted chicken, the risotto and the grouper. Everything was so very good. The service is laid back but efficient and the prices are very reasonable. This is a must go for anyone who likes a good meal!“

The restaurant was clean and smelled great, but it was surprisingly dark inside — even though it was still sunny out, the lighting felt a bit too dim for our taste. The food was excellent and tasted super fresh, which almost made up for the higher prices. Drinks were definitely on the expensive side compared to nearby spots. That said, the service was friendly and attentive. If you're okay with paying a little more for great quality food, it's worth checking out.“

If I wasn’t meeting up with friends I could have easily spent a hour just chilling out. My quad shot vanilla latte was made to perfection. The only problem that I have is the thought of going back to another Starbucks🤬 Keep up the good work! P.S. It’s located upstairs and a little difficult to find, but strangely enough it just added to the feeling of finding one of those cool local spots that we all want to find in such a charming area.“
