“The Rotary Club of Fort Collins Breakfast wants to thank and recommend The Welsh Rabbit to the people of Fort Collins. In Jan 16th we had our yearly Old Town Progressive dinner where our members go to three locations together-appetizers then a main course then for coffee. Our event organizer members showed up to our first venue and saw a sign that said “closed due to furnace issues”. It was 16 degrees out and 47 members were set to arrive in 30 minutes. The organizers started asking stores if they could host us. The second store we asked was The Welsh Rabbit. They allowed us in and we were in for a treat. Their cheezes were amazing, the ambience so pleasant and many of our members lined up to purchase items. They saved our evening. This store is an example of the heart of Fort Collins! We thank them so very much for what they did for us. Give this business a try! If you need gourmet items, dine wines and delicious cheeses for any event then why he Welsh Rabbit is where you need to visit!“

The bartender was super kind and personable without putting on the fake face that you find at some of the spots in Fort Collins. “My three friends and I traveled from San Antonio and were absolutely obsessed with your shop and employees! They were incredibly kind, and the food was the best!! (PLEASE try the kale sausage soup!) The coffee, house-made syrups, and everything else warmed my heart. It was the best experience ever, and I’m not exaggerating. We planned to leave for San Antonio at 4 a.m. to get home in time before dark, but then we realized if we did that we could not go back to the shop! So we decided to drive through the Texas Hill Country in the dark so we could go to Bread Fellow at 8 a.m. this morning before we went back home. And praise God we did!! You truly have to go here; you won’t regret it, we for sure didn't!“

“We're driving through Fort Collins and looking for a place to sit outside with our dogs and have a beer. Downtown was crazy and no parking. On the way back to the hotel we ran across Peculiar. Plenty of parking, great beer selection and the food truck, outside, was great! I recommend the Cuban fries but all sound good. If you want a great place and still be able to park and not wait long for a table, this is the place. Beer is great. Bar tender is hot. Just an added bonus.“

This dude is an absolute machine — moving nonstop for over an hour, serving everyone at the bar, filling tickets, cleaning, running dishes, clearing glasses, prepping for servers — without missing a single beat. It’s wild to watch. He’s got that old-school pride in the craft, handling business with total precision and speed.

He pours beer perfectly — none of that “too much foam, not enough beer” nonsense — just perfect head every time, cold glass, clean prep, spotless station. It’s like watching someone run a symphony behind the bar.

Also, pro tip: the happy hour wings are worth destroying, skip the fried gouda, and just enjoy the vibe. Between the energy, the beer selection, and that bar keep, this place is an easy 5/5.“

“So much to do here. The Gaku Ramen shop is awesome and Transmissions Arcade bar was a unique and fun experience. The downtown had many shops, food vendors, restaurants, and places to sit and enjoy. I highly encourage visiting the capital building and engaging in understanding the history and what the area is about. Have loads of fun!!!“

I had the avocado toast (so fresh and flavorful!) and my hubby had what he called the best French toast ever.
