Happy Sumo Reviews
The appetizers and rolls were great! It was some of the best sushi that I’ve had in Denver. Knocking a star because our server (The woman with a chest tattoo) was rude. Loved it! Yummy! Everyone enjoyed.
Great sushi in town. The atmosphere is great for a date night. Try the happy hour! We had dinner and an app for like $13.

Happy Sumo offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi rolls, nigiri, and Hawaiian fried rice. Guests can expect good value for the price, with generous portions and high-quality food. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and friendly staff providing great service. Many customers appreciate the helpful staff who accommodate dietary restrictions, even though the gluten-free options are limited. The atmosphere includes good music at a nice volume, making for an enjoyable dining experience. While some reviews mention that the sushi rolls are small and bland, others highlight the freshness and deliciousness of the food, with favorites like Baja and Cabana rolls. The restaurant is a popular spot, especially on weekends, and offers plenty of seating with efficient service. Overall, Happy Sumo provides a good meal in a friendly environment, despite some minor concerns about cleanliness and the limited gluten-free choices, but the helpful staff often makes up for these issues.
