To Clarify up front, I almost never give 1 or 5 stars as that means the place is exceptionally bad or good. I just updated this La Fonda to Five Stars because their service is amazing and very friendly. They deserve your business. I am so glad I rediscovered La Fonda! My family would bring me here back in the late 1970s and in many ways it still looks the same. I’ve been coming here for 40 years, very nostalgic for my family. It’s so great that it is pretty much the same as when Rick Garcia owned it, in fact, I can’t tell the difference. The LaFonda burrito is my favorite. If you’re in the Wheat Ridge area stop in and enjoy this awesome restaurant.

We were next to a pretty loud party but they were having fun and we didn't want to get in the way of that. The food was great. I was a little surprised they didn't ask how spicy I wanted it, but it was perfect for my taste. If you like spicy, you probably should mention it to your server. The service was perfect, too. We really enjoyed it and the price was just right.
