“This Dunks had one of the best setups I've ever seen. It had coffee on tap (not literally, but the appearance of bar taps to serve their various blend). Aesthetically it was coolest Dunkin I've ever been in for this reason.”
“Really great choices here. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed my beef gyro plate and lentil soup. The gyro falafel wrap was also very yummy. I will say the lentil soup was a surprise, I wasn't expecting Lentil and rice soup... I was feeling for a more traditional yellow lentil soup BUT this surprised me- it was very good and I was happy with my choice even though I expected something else. Portions are huge and we were full and very satisfied when we left. Service was quick and friendly. Restaurant has a few spots to sit and eat inside. Would highly recommend.”
“great ice cream! but service… idkthe manager or person in charge (who seemed to be a college student like me) the day i went in was a little grouchy.i have a friend with a nut allergy and we asked to just use clean scoops when making our ice cream sundae. the cashier said they could do that, but after we were ringed up the manager/person in charge as well as some other workers seemed upset at our order and said that they normally don’t do that. we were like “uhh ok should we change the order?” but they sort of begrudgingly huffed and said they would do it.she also got upset at the cashier who ringed us bc he was new to the job and apparently should have said no to us being able to purchase a sundae given the nut allergy :( hope he’s doing okDietary restrictions: didn’t have a great experience with them in regards to a nut allergy. we said we could change our order but they ended up being kinda passive aggressive and agreeing to do our order. i also overheard the workers gossiping about our order and also scolding the cashier that allowed us to order the sundae we got.”
“Little Aladdin is a hidden gem in the UConn campus!! The chicken kebab plates are delicious! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help out if you're unable to make a decision. Lots of great options to choose from.”
“What a wonderful stay! Great location for visiting UCONN campus with clean/fun-themed/comfortable rooms and warm, welcoming vibe. Staff was wonderful - especially Sarah, Chris and Shannon at the Trophy Room restaurant. We will definately be back!”
“Raj is amazing. Great service.Helped me with my seed oil allergy.Got the goat curry in butter and it is the best around.Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Will work with your preferences to help you.”
“This is my kid’s favorite burger place. I also enjoy it. The buns are tasty, and the milkshakes are amazing. We usually get the naked fries since he is picky, but they are delicious on their own. I’ll try the fancy fries soon ”
“Not a mistake selecting Spice Venue, extremly happy after dining with classic food and well behaved service. It was my first visit here with family and we all wanted to spend the evening with Tandoor specials, we ordered grilled fish, tandoori chicken, Palak Paneer, Naan and Lassi.Everything we have ordered was truly best in taste and freshness. The gentleman assisting us during dining was polite and a funny guy.Good experience with them and I don't mind to recommend.”
“Stopped at the winery first and had a 5 tasting flight which I wasn't a fan of most of the wine I tried- but still worth the experience. Walked down to the brewery where there was music. Only sat for 1 beer which was a good sour. FYI for anyone like myself going to relax and attempt to have a nice adult evening... there were bus loads of children so if you are looking to escape kids-- the brewery portion is NOT the place to go. Otherwise it was an enjoyable evening.”
“Food was very good. French Onion soup, shrimp/chicken cajun, sea scallops - all were very good. Service was not that good, waiter delivered drinks and food but never stopped back, a waitress came to the rescue to give check But we will give another try.”
“The food and service were great. The Fenton burger is an A+! Nice spectrum of beer choices, not like the places with 10 IPA's and a couple others. Looking forward to returning for a second visit.”
“You may not know what bubble tea is. It's a way of serving a cold tea. My only complaint is that the menu here doesn't at all make it clear that you can-- and should, at least to try it-- order any cold tea as bubble tea. I had one of the fruity teas and my partner had a milky green tea. Bubble tea-- invented in 1986 in Taiwan-- is a cup of tea with pea-sized black tapioca pearls in it. The tapioca does have a taste of its own but the fun in the bubble tea is sucking those pieces through the specially shaped straw and chewing on them. If you don't like tapioca because it's too 'slimy' to you, you will want to pass of course. Your straw will sometimes clog despite its shape, and you will have to blow the pearls out and try again. If you are totally against fun, you may not like bubble tea. I did not have any food. But I will be back for the bubble tea!”
“All of the food, the atmosphere, sustainability & services was amazing. I came here in October and haven’t stopping thinking about it since, the lady working was so lovely and very friendly/helpful!”
“Hi! This place was absolutely cozy and so welcoming for a Valentine’s Day atmosphere. We loved browsing their baked goods and product displays. My boyfriend had reached out to make a reservation and the owners were greatly accommodating. He asked Ericka to have flowers from their florist next door be at the table making dinner such a beautiful surprise to walk into. The establishment was attentive and service was exceptionally kind. We had fresh toasted rolls with the shrimp calabrese and chicken marsala, but chef Sal’s arancini was filling itself. For dessert they have a variety of cakes, and the red velvet was delicious along with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie from the bakery. I highly recommend this Italian joint for a relaxing and peaceful evening!”
“This used to be the the #1 spot for bikers in CT and RI at one time.I remember going here on a Sunday and you couldn't find a spot to park, sometimes 600 bikes plus for a pig roast with a band playing in the back, they were famous for $1 roast beef dinners, but now it's just a roadside bar, still biker friendly, but the place went down hill since then, yea, they cleaned it up but they took the character out of it.”
“This friendly winery offers a nice selection. Staff is super nice and this place is affordable. It also offers a brewery for those less interested in fermented grapes!”
“My family has enjoyed going here for years! Josh and the crew provide great service. I will say I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's always the cheese breadsticks for me! They're a must have with any meal! And the fundraisers that they do to help local schools and organizations is an amazing thing for the community as well!”
“Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was excellent and our kids went out of their way to send their compliments to the chef! This place had that nostalgic classic diner feel that we love. We will definitely be back when in the area.Parking: Convenient parkingKid-friendliness: Staff was very kid friendly”
“The service is always amazing , and the food is always delicious. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but with the quality of food and service it’s 100% worth it.”
“Always a great experience and delicious food! All the servers are very attentive, every time we go and it is much appreciated. Having Adriana as our waitress last night prompted me to write this review. She was right on top of everything. We love the vegan options they offer as well. Some dishes we just have to order without cheese or sour cream to make it vegan but either way, its always delicious with good quality ingredients. Much better quality food than others in a half hour radius. We've been to them all.”
“Honestly, I don't usually leave reviews but this place deserves one. I've been getting food from here for years. Like almost a decade. The foods always great, the staffs nice, and every so often I get a little extra in my take out. Thus time they threw in a Happy New Year note and gave me two Veggie Samosas. Super cool place ?”
“The name changed to Woodstock Trading Post 2 weeks before we ate here. We enjoyed the food and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Menu could use more non-fried options. There was no Alcoholic beverage available.”
“Me and my girlfriend have been regulars here for about 2 years now. The food is always amazing. We usually get 2 main dishes and then two side dishes and it always only takes just about 50 minutes so I’m not sure about the wait time complaints. It’s always worth the wait either way. I am very happy to have found this restaurant and I will be coming here as long as I live in CT.Vegetarian options: I always get the paneer tikka masala rather than a meat Tikka masala and it’s just so so good.Wheelchair accessibility: I am not disabled but there is a ramp leading up to the restaurant so I would assume that’s pretty accessible, also have a couple big handicap spots as well.”
“Quiet and comfortable space with modernized country kitchen feel. Staff are outgoing, personable, and attentive. Food is excellent with generous portions. Will be back again!”
“First time having hibachi. I had a great time with my cousin. I've had sushi at this restaurant before, always good here. Still a little weirded out by the fact that it's in the mall. ?”
“Best bubble tea in Storrs, I get it almost every time I'm downtown. Always get the rose milk tea with lychee jelly and mango popping boba. They've got both kiosks and face-to-face ordering, and their drinks come out pretty quick. I usually choose to order from the kiosks so I can mull over my options longer, and adjust sweetness/toppings.Their new egg waffles take a little longer, about 5-7 minutes.”
“It is one of the nicer dining Halls on campus. Very open settings, meaning lots of windows and natural lighting. The food is usually good. They have have kosher and Halal options as well.”
“Slightly on the pricier side, but still beats its other Asian restaurant competitors in Storrs… and service is friendly. With regard to specific dishes:Singaporean fried rice noodle is flavorful (4/5)Seafood fried udon isn’t bad but shrimp and scallops could be more fresh. (3/5)”
“Place rocks. Clean, friendly staff, and giant selection. Feel great after drinking their shakes. Highly recommend the Banana Split shake. If you have a dog ask for the "pup cup". Major victory having this place in our area. 10x better than any of the chain shake stores I've ever been to. Get to sip on these while working. Thank you all.”
“Ordered breakfast western omlet and a cheese omlet with home fries , side of bacon, and sausage. For take out ,got home from picking it up. Everything was hot and well wrapped . Best breakfast I have ever got . Job well done. I would recommend this place to anyone.”
