“After driving by this place for so many months, I finally decided to stop it. It was worth the trip. The food is delicious made fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even the other patrons were very friendly smiles on their faces overall great atmosphere great food great prices worth stopping and take a visit.

Vegetarian options: I’m pretty certain that you can have any of the items substituted on their menu to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle their tuna fish is absolutely divine

Parking: There is tons of parking there’s handicap parking right at the door parking is a breeze

Kid-friendliness: The spot is very kid friendly. They have lots of different options that kids would enjoy grilled cheese, bagels, egg and cheese tuna sandwiches absolutely delicious. They also have lots of pastries on the shelf, pastries chips, macaroons, various various brownies things that would entice a child to eat there.“

“Clean, friendly and the food is delish- fresh homemade with quality ingredients. I love the soups, especially the chicken herb and pea soup. The chicken cutlet sandwich with pesto is excellent not to mention the best potato salad ever. Best of all the portions are generous and the prices reasonable.“

“Little shoppe smack in the center of a quaint neighborhood. Grabbed a cheese slice (great ingredients, quality crust, lotta flop cuz there’s a lotta cheese and with that comes a good amt of grease) and a meatball grinder w provolone (frozen meatballs didnt hinder the taste experience). All in all, very good! Even grabbed a broc n cheese soup too and I absolutely would go for that again! Sadly, my uneducated, 1 language self had a hard time communicating with the nice man on the phone/register given our language barrier but, I appreciate his patience and warmness. “When I discovered Roxbury Market in the eighties, it soon became one of my favorite destinations. I lived in Bethel, but I’d drive up to Roxbury several times a week for sandwiches. It was remodeled sometime in the nineties, and the small back room had tables to enjoy meals with friends. We’d meet there by Jeep, motorcycle, or whatever and sit for an hour sharing a great sandwich, coffee and soft drinks. I moved to Florida in 2004 and miss the Marketplace. But we manage to visit at least once a year when we come back to Roxbury in autumn.“
