The atmosphere felt calm and peaceful and the decor was beautiful!if you are a coffee drinker and like strong coffee, the Vietnamese ice coffee was amazing. “We have been coming to David's place for a long time - usually very good. This time (7/23) was not the greatest. Ordered sea food salad roll toasted. It was not toasted and they have changed the sea food salad since last month. It was really good before - now it's more "Stop and Shop" type salad with big chunks. Before it was chopped up small and had a delicious taste. Also the chips were obviously the "bottom of the bag" ones. Sorry - just disappointed. We drove quite a few miles to eat there.“

“This is a hidden gem! We're back in Connecticut after many years and were looking for some authentic regional pizza and came upon Asylum Street Pizza. We were greeted immediately and the staff had definitive answers to our questions. We asked for a recommendation and were served with a straight-from-the-oven delicious "the works" pizza. When we're back in the area again, we will definitely stop by for another pizza. Don't miss this one!“

I've gone there a few times now for breakfast and burgers and both were very, very, good, but their Mexican cuisine--as one might imagine--is the highlight of a very strong menu, and their burrito is the best I've ever had. Service is friendly and surprisingly fast. You're paying a few bucks more than a chain restaurant, but the experience is easily three times better and worth every cent.“

And yes although the food is absolutely amazing, the bartenders and staff there are some of the hardest and most dedicated workers i have ever seen in the food and beverage industry! Not only that, their personalities are amazing! Highly recommend if you have never been there or even if you were there 15 minutes ago!“
