My wife and I have been going to Thimbleberry two or three times a year for many years, for lunch or just ice cream by the sea. Given that, we want people to know that the falafel we had yesterday at the café was far and away the *best* we have ever tasted --and as vegetarians we have eaten a lot of falafel! Theirs had a satisfying crunchy crust around a soft, warm, moist center. Fabulous! Oh, and their ice cream is above average too.
Off season great little place by the water to eat plenty of parking not busy and great location. Support your local businesses because they still need us. Had a great Italian combo and soup that changes daily they do hot / cold food. Chili was awesome with a delicious patty melt ! Come enjoy before the crazy summer season begins .

This quaint and picturesque area has been my favorite place to relax usually after visiting my dentist in Branford but I never stepped in this establishment till yesterday. I tried pastrami reuben written on blackboard menu and was I surprised! It came out piping hot after about 5 minutes of prep time, perfectly grilled crunchy butter toasted delicious bread, succulent and juicy pastrami, sauer kraut done just right, and whatever dressing that complmented overall taste.
