Spanish Restaurants near Bridgeport, CT

“It was our first time going to this restaurant, my husband saw it on instagram. We were in the area so we grabbed a few quick things to go to the beach. We got their empanadillas which is meat with cheese and alcapurrias (and one of yuca), it all tasted great. My husband also got chicken soup and he liked it. There is street parking and it is to order and go. The people were very nice and patient as we decided what we wanted. The food area looked clean and they were also cooking in the back, bringing fresh food to the front.“

“The food is good. The staff are very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is not bad, but it's nothing to talk about. It's simply as small spot with a few tables where you can either stop in for a quick lunch or you can sit with a friend to have a meal while no one bothers you. It's never been busy when I've gone but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not a good spot. The food is good. You can order from the ready made stuff on display or from the menu where all is cooked to order, which is what I usually do but not because the already made food isn't good, because I've had almost everything and have no complaints. I just usually want something like skirt steak which is so good. They're fast and good. I highly recommend if you haven't already realized that, lol. Btw, it's no longer called Ramirez. They go by a different name. It's now Esquina Latina which translates to Latin Corner.“

“My FAVORITE place the restaurant is small and humble but the food is the best the PRICES i mean no where is as good as their combo price the ladies they are all goo only one lady isn’t but the majority is good im Hispanic myself and I really enjoy coming to this restaurant I recommend to order to go cause the neighborhood and people who go in aren’t as nice because is located in the ghetto but I still love it I don’t mine the location is not my fav but I like the quality of the FOOD IS DELICIOUS“

“What a pleasant surprise. I have always wondered how this restaurant is. I had the pleasure of trying it out during an putting and stopped by today. I ordered carne frita - made to order! And some cuchi frito yuuuummy!
They have delivery options too. Looking forward to trying out more from the menu!!“
