I love to mix in some of their homemade extra hot Reaper sauce into their amazing chili 🌶️. it's fantastic,I get a little sweat going, finishing with a great head buzz. and, there HOMEMADE ONION RINGS are fantastic, blowing away the lame frozen kind most all restaurants use. The woman who took my order was courteous and helpful. The food was good. I got a spicy chicken sandwich. The best part was the sauce. The chicken was crispy and delicious. “I’m not from CT but this is the Applebees I will be coming to. NY Locations aren’t this happy and caring. The manager Jessica was on top of everything. I’m a girls girl and I was amazed how she’s a manager, waitress and a bartender. That’s what we call a triple threat. Her employees are so helpful towards one another and to the customers. I felt the love and how they treat each other as if they were family. I will be back and will continue driving an hour up to the Danbury location.“

“I say yes and no to recommendations. I recommend only the burgers. Don't order the chicken sandwich. Today we tried chicken sandwiches. Big disappointment. Menu picture looked great. Nice chunk of chicken on a fluffy roll. What we got resembled a chicken cracker on a smashed roll with a smear of mayonnaise and 3 slivers of pickle. I've been there 3 times now and the staff messed up orders all three times. Not just mine, but other customers as well. Although the will do their best to rectify the mistakes.“

The burger was well put together in past whoppers would fall apart and look a real mess.This was very clean, neat ready for a photo op. I purchased the onion rings and fries which were OK but had better. The main reason was for the whopper, which tasted, I thought pretty good for the price. In the picture you can see my bite that I took for burger wars. Also, endless soda, but they use one of those all-in-one machines. That I find the soda never really tastes, right.“
