“I haven’t had McDonald’s in a few years. I had a really good experience. This location has a drive thru and inside seating. Clean on the inside. The woman who took my order was courteous and helpful. The food was good. I got a spicy chicken sandwich. The best part was the sauce. The chicken was crispy and delicious. Nestled in the heart of Sandy Hook, CT this cafe exudes a cozy yet vibrant charm, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. We chose the booth by the front window box that was sweetly decorated for the holiday. There were couple other booths, a high-top table, and several two/four-top tables. Tiny space but a gigantic, interesting menu. Good for takeout as well. There is a small outdoor seating area overlooking the river. We were greeted by Ralph, the owner/chef. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. He proudly described all of the interesting specials (his own creations) and it was difficult to decide as they all sounded simply wonderful. We went with the blackened eggs benedict with salmon special, and the breakfast burrito. All fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s an inviting space where you can linger over your meal without a care in the world. Sandy Hook Café is a hidden gem that’s worth every penny. I will definitely be becoming a regular.“

“We had an incredible experience tonight when ordering Take-out from Kibberia for the first time. We wanted to try a few items so I put my order in through Grubhub and got a call 5 minutes later from Matthew at Kibberia to tell me how awesome my order was and to thank me for choosing their restaurant. They sent a handwritten note with my order and even sent me an extra item to try. The food was an 11/10… phenomenal!definitely get the Lamb shwarma wrap, garlic chicken flatbread and some baklava for dessert! Thanks again for the great food and even better customer service.“
