“Incredible. A truly fantastic coffee shop and addition to Bethel. Everything we had was fantastic - I tried a pistachio latte that was the perfect blend of coffee and sweet. You could just tell what high quality they were using. We tried so many of their pastries: herb croissant, goat cheese & tomato danish, monkey bread - each one was perfect. Even the yogurt parfait was next level. The coffee shop itself is light and airy (even on a rainy day), there are only a few table (4 2-seaters I think), so get there early if you want to linger. The owners were amazing - so kind and welcoming. We even got to try an affogato which was so rich and delicious, I want to come back on my own to get it again. This is truly the coffee shop this area deserves. We will be back time and again.“

“The workers in the front are always so accommodating, and sweet. The decoration in there are always so welcoming and aesthetically pleasing! The coffee is consistent with their taste and has a perfect amount of ice in it!! They also have a large variety of sandwiches and drinks!! Definitely a new bright spot in pawling that I would love to take my friends to hangout with!!“

“Warm folksy atmosphere with some lovely baked goods and great service. I went for the Taste of Danbury and picked the red hot mama burrito, which would definitely order again! Ask for some sauce on the side, because the smoky Chipotle hot sauce they have is great.“

“If you're going to get a flat tire, I strongly recommend that you get one on NY-22, right in front of this deli, as I did. The staff are lovely (a man and his mother) and speak Italian to one another. They make their own mozzarella, soup, and at least some pastries, if not all. Cannoli are filled to order and excellent. Another pastry (crostata?), cut into squares with a shortbread-like crust, cherry jam and chocolate was even more spectacular and something that I *must* come back for. The man told me it was homemade. The sfogliatelle pastry was a little tough and stale, but the thick, ricotta-rich filling was delicious. To be fair, these things have a very short shelf life. I gave it a few minutes in the toaster oven when I finally made it home and the texture was far improved. The son patiently answered my questions [e.g. how to properly pronounce "sfogliatelle," how much the fresh mozzarella costs (about $11 / lb)] and the mother kindly warmed up some pasta e fagioli for me. Sandwiches seem to be the focus here -- the menu is vast! -- but I sorely needed the warm-you-from-the-inside-out comfort of soup at that moment. The rich broth full of red beans, potatoes, and carrots absolutely hit the spot. It's too bad that it took a flat tire to get me in this place. We've been driving by for years and have clearly been missing out all this time!“

“I didnt even know about Grounds until recently. This is a very cute little spot that does special donuts and gourmet coffee. We tried two frosteds and the somoa and they were both fresh and tasty despite being in the early afternoon. They have an elite european looking coffee machine so I tried a flavored latte and it was excellent. Nice people and great service too. Highly recommended!“

“It's a very clean place with healthy, delicious snacks and fantastic service. A few weeks ago, I arrived at 5:55 pm, not knowing it closes at 6 pm. I thought they wouldn't prepare me anything, but it was a pleasant surprise that they attended to me well and accommodated all my requests, as I wanted a dairy-free bowl. “I’m so glad I was able to visit the Simpson & Vail store! I have ordered from them online a few times and receive their catalog, so it was so exciting to go there in person and see all their teas available. Pam was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even offered recommendations for things for us to do in the area. I left with a ton of great teas for both myself and for family gifts. I hope to return in the future but am also glad that they offer shipping for when I run out! My personal favorites are the White Chocolate Peppermint, the Carrot Cake Cupcake and the Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble.“

“Very kind staff. Delicious pastry. Affordable and fair prices. The coconut chocolate cake was heavenly. The cappuccino was so delicious full of spices. The espresso was perfect. Their empanadas were the best! We enjoy coming here all the time! Very good spot to hang out and treat yourself with anything from their homemade pastry and coffee. We’ll be back! Small suggestion, to serve your amazing products on cake plates not paper plates if possible. Doesn’t change your amazing cakes but definitely would make it even more enjoyable experience. “Been going for years. Food is best value around. Best falafal. Get the sampler that comes with salad and the pickle, onion, herb, tomato toppings! Please keep the same chef or chef techniques as we are all used to in the past years. last time food was a little different ?? usually awesome beef kabob. but I will be back! The place was busy when we entered but we were still made to feel special and didn't wait long. We plan on coming back regularly as it was a special small local business with a kind owner. “We were visiting from new tour state and found this place. Robin the owner is so great and the food is wonderful. I am all about homemade and fresh and she does both. The scones are the best I’ve had, outside of my own, and the breakfast sandwich was made to order. She’s does her own granola bars and eve teas fantastic. “I rarely write reviews but this deserved it. My first time here and it's not my local DD (I'm in Danbury) but I must commend the customer service from "NILSA". She was fantastic. Not only to me, but as I sat drinking my coffee, I watched NILSA greet every single customer with a friendly smile & hello. She even knew most customer's names. I have never experienced this service at ANY other DD location around the country and I travel alot! Nilsa's customer service needed to be recognized and should be rewarded. “Love that they know my order when I pull up to the drive-thru window for my morning latte ☕ . Sometimes they can get busy and I know it's hard to find good help these days but they do the best they can. I appreciate it.Parking: Easy to park plenty of parking in the back also and in the front there is a beautiful small park as seen in the pictures and a beautiful newly renovated road Old Route 7 in Brookfield has granite sidewalks and brick inlay to walk on and drink your coffee and also walk across the street and go for a beautiful walk on the greenway in Brookfield Connecticut and if you need a haircut stop by Gary's barber shop all in the same street. What a spot for a coffee walk and haircut perfect.“
