“This place is really nice. I never knew of them in all the years I drove by…basically a diamond in the rough. I had been in South Salem using the holistic animal hospital down the road and never knew about the farmers grind until someone told me about it. I went there for three days straight, and they supplied me with coffee and food & I couldn’t have been happier. I actually liked them so much that I went back again a couple of weeks ago because I was in the area and it was a delight to step foot back into this place. I was over by the prepared food section and somebody came up to help me even without me asking for any help and I thought that was nice. All in all, it’s a great place if you want a good cup of coffee and healthy prepared foods. I definitely will be visiting again on my future trips to South Salem.Parking: Free parking in front. “Incredible. A truly fantastic coffee shop and addition to Bethel. Everything we had was fantastic - I tried a pistachio latte that was the perfect blend of coffee and sweet. You could just tell what high quality they were using. We tried so many of their pastries: herb croissant, goat cheese & tomato danish, monkey bread - each one was perfect. Even the yogurt parfait was next level. The coffee shop itself is light and airy (even on a rainy day), there are only a few table (4 2-seaters I think), so get there early if you want to linger. The owners were amazing - so kind and welcoming. We even got to try an affogato which was so rich and delicious, I want to come back on my own to get it again. This is truly the coffee shop this area deserves. We will be back time and again.“

“The donuts here are definitely much better than most any place in Ffld County. They are very fluffy/yeasty. The best was when I went at opening time-- so fresh. Tastes like they use real quality ingredients. Even the next day, the donut we saved didn't have that awful bad oil taste. Chocolate one is my favorite. The coffee is good and the avocado toast very fresh and flavorful, at a good price. Wish the service could be friendlier.“

The foods are definitely a bit pricey and the art supplies are very expensive, good snacks and drinks, I really recommend the pastries, definitely a Katonah favorite.Vegetarian options: There are meat options but there are still really good salads and pastries as well and sandwiches you can find good snacks and drinks as well, maybe not perfect for vegans though.Dietary restrictions: They ask you before any order about allergies, they are very good about health and safetyParking: There’s a lot in the back and as the owners say, please park in their side of the lot and not the spot next door.Kid-friendliness: They have kids books and a small toys section, definitely a kid friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it isn’t the most wheelchair friendly area, there are front steps to the store and I think there are back steps as well, there is also shopping upstairs so maybe not.“

“A great cup of coffee served in a welcoming and eclectic cafe.I ordered a Caramel Cafe Latte and a Cheese Danish and paid just over $9 for both. The coffee was hot, well brewed, and had the perfect amount of caramel. The cheese danish was also great, but the added sugar on the pastry didn’t seem necessary.I loved the artwork on display and the homage to elephants. The mock fireplace was a nice touch but to me, the black furniture and the gray walls felt a tad stale. And while there was plenty of seating, I would have preferred some extra light while enjoying my book.This space is well worth the delicious coffee and the parking fiasco. “I didnt even know about Grounds until recently. This is a very cute little spot that does special donuts and gourmet coffee. We tried two frosteds and the somoa and they were both fresh and tasty despite being in the early afternoon. They have an elite european looking coffee machine so I tried a flavored latte and it was excellent. Nice people and great service too. Highly recommended!“

“It's a very clean place with healthy, delicious snacks and fantastic service. A few weeks ago, I arrived at 5:55 pm, not knowing it closes at 6 pm. I thought they wouldn't prepare me anything, but it was a pleasant surprise that they attended to me well and accommodated all my requests, as I wanted a dairy-free bowl. Their empanadas were the best! We enjoy coming here all the time! Very good spot to hang out and treat yourself with anything from their homemade pastry and coffee. We’ll be back! Small suggestion, to serve your amazing products on cake plates not paper plates if possible. Doesn’t change your amazing cakes but definitely would make it even more enjoyable experience. “G E Brown is a cute, almost "Amagansett-style" coffee shop. I've had their coffee before but only when my husband has picked it up. Today I went in on my own and enjoyed the brief visit. The menu is simple, and yet it gave me pause. Two large coffees (one iced, one hot), a fruit cup, a small baguette sandwich (they call them "twists"), an egg and cheese (which took less than 8 minutes to prepare), and a blueberry muffin ran me ~$35. Felt fair to me, honestly. Stopped in around 8:45 am and it was already pretty busy so I was surprised by the quick, kind service. Definitely a place for the "golf and tennis club" goers, which is fun for me to experience as I'm very much an outsider in that sense. Definitely would make this a regular stop on weekends.“

I appreciate it.Parking: Easy to park plenty of parking in the back also and in the front there is a beautiful small park as seen in the pictures and a beautiful newly renovated road Old Route 7 in Brookfield has granite sidewalks and brick inlay to walk on and drink your coffee and also walk across the street and go for a beautiful walk on the greenway in Brookfield Connecticut and if you need a haircut stop by Gary's barber shop all in the same street. What a spot for a coffee walk and haircut perfect.“

“We came for the restaurant week special and sampled the trifecta for breakfast (coffee + breakfast sandwich + croissant + chocolate croissant). Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Didn't previously know about Ross' Bread, but will now be a regular customer - their table in the back had a very comfortable bench and I can definitely see myself camping out here in the morning with my laptop. Their English muffin is unreal, the croissants were buttery and flakey, and the blueberry muffin was the cherry on top. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and patient. The manager even took my 2 year old behind the counter and gave him a little extra treat!“

I always judge a bagel spot by their everything bagel and this one was quality. Ratio of seasoning to bagel was great, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Would have been 5 stars, but ordered pickup and it took a little long to get my order when it wasn't packed. Hopefully quicker next time, as I will be back for sure!“

“I’m happy to see this location on a positive upswing again. A girlfriend and I have been frequenting this location for years for weekly coffee and when it comes to a big chain store like Starbucks, the management is really key. Patrick runs a tight ship and it’s refreshing to see a manager dedicated to customer service again.While I do enjoy this location, it doesn’t seem to have aged as well as other Starbucks in the NY and CT area. The bar certainly isn’t large enough for the influx of orders and the seating leaves little to be desired. Bistro style tables and a massive table in the center of the restaurant just seem wasteful when seating is always hard to come by. And I can’t help but think that some design tweaks would alter this store from “good” to “great.”If you’re in the area and don’t mind a location without a drive thru, definitely stop in. The customer service is really the best thing this store has going for it.“
