“Stopped by Bagel Crossing and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and everything felt fresh. I liked the simple, local bagel shop feel, and the breakfast sandwich was really good. Definitely a nice spot to grab breakfast or coffee.“

“The portions are definitely healthy. More than not, you're going to take some home. I would recommend telling the servers to ease on any sauces or dressings or anything like that. Some of the food that's coming out has a lot of it on it. Great little corner for people watching.“

“Wonderful place to spend an hour or so on a Sunday morning in particularl, or any other time you’re in the area. Cozy, inviting atmosphere with good food (sandwiches, snacks and pastries) and coffee made on site by talented staff; premium local goods are also available for purchase. Our experience was enhanced by a delightful musician. Not to be missed any time.“

“We were recommended to Dolce restaurant by a relative who used to live in the area and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is rustic and classic. From the time we walked in the door, the service was extraordinary. We were seated right away and we received the perfect amount of attention throughout the entire meal. One diner had the tuna tar tar as an appetizer and he said it was the best he's ever had. For dinner we had the chicken Francaise and the Dolce salad. They both had generous portions and were absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes and spinach sides were just as good as the entree. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Our waitress Jillian was amazing and had a lovely personality. Delicious food, great ambiance all for a fair price.“

“I am by no means overly familiar with Dunkin Donuts, but I have certainly been to locations of this franchise that leave a lot to be desired.
Stopping in on a whim, I was genuinely shocked at how nice the interior looked. The donuts were showcased beautifully, I loved the “bar style” coffee pour, and most importantly this Dunkin was CLEAN.
Service was great and while I am a Starbucks girlie, I was happy with my bagel and chai.
The bagel seemed quite “dark” for cinnamon raisin, but was toasted fine. The chai could have tasted “spicier,” but was hot and fine for what it was. For $9.07, I’m not complaining.
While the location is a tad awkward, give this Dunkin a try. Despite the mixed reviews, they seem to be doing some things right.“

“We had an incredible experience tonight when ordering Take-out from Kibberia for the first time. We wanted to try a few items so I put my order in through Grubhub and got a call 5 minutes later from Matthew at Kibberia to tell me how awesome my order was and to thank me for choosing their restaurant. They sent a handwritten note with my order and even sent me an extra item to try. The food was an 11/10… phenomenal!definitely get the Lamb shwarma wrap, garlic chicken flatbread and some baklava for dessert! Thanks again for the great food and even better customer service.“

“Grab an FG coffee, get some work done at the tables - it’s perfect. Really the best spot to get out of the house if you work from home. I’m in the South Salem FG all the time, and I’m so glad they’re in New Canaan, too. My kids love the homemade protein balls (choc chips, rolled oats, PB, etc). Go!“

“Wow, I never thought I’d live to see the day when I’d taste something so delightful! At 82 years old, I walked into Gofer Ice Cream, unsure what to expect. My good friend Andrew liebau insisted I try a “banana split”—said I’d been missing out all my life. Well, I’ll be darned if he wasn’t right.
The handsome young man behind the counter was patient as I squinted at the flavors, though I had no idea what “cookie dough” or “rocky road” meant. In the end, I picked vanilla—simple, safe. But the moment that first spoonful melted on my tongue, I understood why folks go on about this treat. It was creamy, sweet, and softer than I imagined, like a little cloud of happiness.
I sat by the window, savoring every bite, watching children run by with their cones dripping in the sun. Maybe I waited too long to have ice cream, but I can tell you this—it won’t be my last time. Five stars, with all the joy of a new discovery“

“I went here almost every day for a sugar shack iced latte while I was back in town after my dad died. We also got sandwiches several times for lunch as well as pastries. Everything is delicious and the staff are incredibly kind.“
