Immediately upon entering you will notice the typical faded backlit menu seen in so many New York spots we love and enjoy. As you walk by the fish tank you are greeted with some of the most friendly service you will ever get. All the food here is prepared fresh, never frozen, and always has the perfect crisp to juiciness ratio.

Compared to other Chinese spots in the area this place is not only better service and better quality, but better prices as well. Our recent order was over ten items and it was still under 80 bucks. Unfortunately they do not deliver but are always open for takeout. Trust me. Moon Star is worth the trip!“

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. “Absolutely Outstanding! We had the pleasure of dining at Hanna’s Middle Eastern Restaurant while passing through Danbury, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, cozy atmosphere, and spotless dining area, every detail was perfect. The food was beyond exceptional - the best Middle Eastern cuisine we’ve ever had. We started with the baked lamb and rice grape leaves (handmade daily and truly exquisite) and the stuffed cabbage, both bursting with flavor. A side of French fries with garlic whip was a fun indulgence. For our main courses, the lamb chops and lamb kabobs were cooked to perfection, delivering incredible taste in every bite. To top it off, we ended with Turkish coffee and homemade baklava, the perfect finish before our drive back to Boston. If we lived in Connecticut, we’d be here every week! Hanna’s is a must-visit, and we highly recommend it.“

“Hi. I had never been to Tandoori Flames Restaurant or even had Indian cuisine before this evening. I was very pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I really loved the Mango Chicken and Butter Chicken my friend and I ordered and shared, and highly recommend both dishes. They have a great staff. All of the people that worked there were very friendly and nice. Our waiter was very helpfully informative, nice, friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean, and bright and had a very pleasant, warm, welcoming atmosphere all around. “A breath of fresh air! I frequented this restaurant as a child and still remember getting glass coke bottles and eating a slice of pizza with my mom. I thought I would pop in and see if it bared the same resemblance or if it was all different. To my surprise it was the same lovely place I had visited 20 years ago as a kid when I would walk up Lake ave after school. They said they just hit 30 years and it's the same owners. So many places in CT treat you like you're a burden when you walk in. I walked in not knowing if we would have lunch there because it's a smaller restaurant and I have two kids. I expected to get some sort of attitude or confused look from the staff but right away I was greeted and the woman up front was eager to help me. I explained my situation and she right away asked her family who were having a meeting at the table if they could move to the back so that my family could come have dinner. She set up two tables for us and the whole staff was friendly and patient with my wild boys. My boys began fighting over an apple juice and one gentleman was kind enough to give me another on the house. The gentleman making the pizza was kind and courteous. You really don't find places like this anymore.. everyone is in a rush, they just want to get paid and get you out, but not this place. It's a traditional family style restaurant. I left feeling so happy with finally not feeling like it was an inconvenience to serve me as I often find now'er days when we're out spending money. They were happy to have us and if we are in the area again we will go back! Thank you guys so much! <3“

“The best, my favorite, pizza joint on Mill Plain Rd, on the Westside, in Danbury! The crust is thin, has that slight crunch, folds easily to cradle the abundance of toppings. Oh, and the meat lover's version, wow! Full-size toppings (hubby & son raved about it)....and my fave, the veggie...spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, garlic, peppers, onions -LOADED & DELICIOUS! But, you cannot go wrong with a plain cheese either... Not greasy, perfect balance of cheese to sauce. My dad's favorite pizza spot, too... and no loss of memory makes him forget how to get there!“

I recently moved away and whenever I want Thai I shed a tear because the places around me will never compare.... I usually get the lunch special (coconut soup, shumai and either pad thai or pad see ew). The coconut curry is also to die for. I'm drooling just thinking about it. GO GO GO!“

“Great people offering your typical fan fare for a pizzeria. I have had their pizza, and although it is not for me, theirs subs are by far the best in the area. Their grinder rolls are exquisite and come from NY and mesh phenominaly with their chicken parm and sausage and peppers. I find their grinders very well priced for what you get and always well received. ALSO, a GIANT kudos... these people take phone orders CORRECTLY and follow directions well!

“Good selection of options using Brazilian cheese bread. Breakfast and lunch items. You can purchase ready to eat or frozen so you can take it home and make it fresh yourself. Service is always friendly and welcoming. It's essentially a take out place with a couple tables. Located in the same building as a gas station. So atmosphere is consistent with that setting, but clean and easy access and no issues parking.
