“On Thursday, 🍻SBC🍻 enjoyed a great time at Cheshire Craft Brewing in Cheshire, CT. We were joined by 3 very good brewery friends and we talked the time away as we sipped a variety of brews. We had been toCCB about a year ago and had been wanting to get back. It is friendly, cozy, and has great beers! Joy began with Orangey Sky, a Kolsch Style Ale, and ended with The Shire, a Chocolate Stout. I had When U Wish, an Irish Red Ale, followed by RAMber, a Roasted Amber Ale. Both of us gave thumbs up to our choices. 🍻SeniorBeerChat🍻 highly recommends Cheshire Craft Brewing…try it…you’ll like it!”

“Amazing beers, but I wish they would make more double ipa hazies and maybe some triples. The one thing that went downhill when they moved is experimentation. They don't experiment nearly as much as they did in Hamden. Also the main floor needs some activities, there's not much to do. The upstairs has some games but it's always rented out. Can you guys get a pool table or something?”

“We had my husband’s 80th birthday party here. The food and service were EXCELLENT, as usual. We’ve been patrons for over 40 years and continue to make the trip even though we live 45 minutes away. Best pizza in CT.”

“We visited this pizzeria with friends we were visiting. This was the first time I had a coal fired pizza. I'm told coal fired cooks at up to 1000 degrees giving it a crisp, airy taste. I really liked it. The restaurant's strength is in takeout. The sit-down section is minimal. Also, they don't serve beer or wine. This may not be a problem for some folks.”

“This is my new favorite and it's the fried rice style that I prefer. A true classic. The shrimp are really generous and a large size even in the rice! The shrimp is cooked perfectly and no tail pieces in the food and no vein!!”

“My go-to at Michael’s deli is “The Day-After” on a wrap. The turkey is fresh and stuffing & cranberries combo isn’t something you can get at other sandwich shops. Today’s sandwich and service was excellent. A reminder for me to keep Michael’s in my weekly lunch rotation.”

“Thank you for a great birthday dinner for my daughter! Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing but I love how present the owner is. From seating us, to asking my daughter what her favorite app was and giving it to us on the house. He also noticed we didn’t order a dessert (we were all full and had leftovers) so he asked us if he could give us a dessert so we could sing happy birthday. Can’t wait to go back!”
