“So, I have to be honest I don’t drink. So I can’t really speak on the beer. I came here specifically because of the gluten free pizza.
I’ve tried so many different gluten free pizzas all around the state. My wife is GF. I belong to a Facebook group that recommends different spots throughout the state.
I had heard this was the spot.
Ordered two pies, wife got a cider and I got a soda.
Let me tell you, this is hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve had the pleasure of eating. It was so good that I had to personally thank the team that was making the pizzas.
I’m going to highly recommend this place solely on the GF pies. I can’t express it enough how difficult it’s been to find one as good as this.
Great job to the team busting out these pies on a Friday night!“
“Where else can you go in Connecticut for an eclectic selection of absolute bangers from today’s top breweries? Christian and staff provide a pampered experience, going the extra mile to suggest custom recommendations and procure hard-to-find beers to go. Knowledgable. Friendly. Accommodating. Variety. Elite-level destination brewery. Cheers!“
“Great spot to vend Lucky Burrito Art Thank you for having us! Really friendly staff and atmosphere!“
“First time there and we love the vibes. The folks that work there were so kind and welcoming.“
“This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I was biased even before I started this review, because I absolutely loved Transcend beers at many beer festivals they were present and also visited their previous location in Southington once and bought every beer they had available (spoiler: they were awesome). So I pretty much knew what to expect.
The brewery occupies a big chunk of a building. There's plenty of parking space available. Inside, there's a huge hangar-style room and another smaller room with games for the kiddos. There's a full kitchen available. I tried their meat pizza and it was delicious.
As for the beers, I noticed that the brewery shifted their brewing habits. If their taps were full of pastry sours before, those are the minority now. 9 beers were available on tap during my visit, with 4 of them being Double/Triple IPAs. They do not serve beer flights, but almost every beer can be ordered as a full, half or small pour. For this review I tried every beer they had. And I was still impressed. I'm tired of IPAs in craft breweries, but their La Mort Au Nord (Triple IPA) was astonishing. My final vote goes to Ink (Barrel Aged Imperial Stout) though, as it was incredibly thick, rich and complex in taste.
I absolutely recommend visiting this brewery to any craft beer enthusiast. It deserves a dedicated trip here just to enjoy new memorable flavors.“
“A Hidden Gem! 🍻Coles Road Brewing I recently discovered this amazing brewery and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed afternoon with Sean. The beer selection is impressive, with a wide range of styles to suit every palate. I especially loved No Straws Required-Raspberry ❤️ The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they're always happy to recommend a beer based on your preferences. If you're a beer lover in the Berlin/Kensington Area , you definitely need to check out Coles Road Brewing“
“The brunchy colada is AMAZING. The bartender tonight recommended it to us, he had just ordered it. I only got 1 can to take home, I'm not a huge beer fan (we like ciders more) and I like radlers, and this is both of those combined in a sour, with juice. It's like a summer brunch in a can. Now i need to find where it's sold....“
“Never been to the brewery but if it is as good as the beer I just randomly bought from them, I can only assume it is amazing. Not sure how long they've been around but the beer has the taste of decades of experience. Keep up the good work and send more stuff to Michigan“

“On Thursday, 🍻SBC🍻 enjoyed a great time at Cheshire Craft Brewing in Cheshire, CT. We were joined by 3 very good brewery friends and we talked the time away as we sipped a variety of brews. We had been toCCB about a year ago and had been wanting to get back. It is friendly, cozy, and has great beers! Joy began with Orangey Sky, a Kolsch Style Ale, and ended with The Shire, a Chocolate Stout. I had When U Wish, an Irish Red Ale, followed by RAMber, a Roasted Amber Ale. Both of us gave thumbs up to our choices. 🍻SeniorBeerChat🍻 highly recommends Cheshire Craft Brewing…try it…you’ll like it!“
