“One of my favorite go-to breweries in New Britain! Have only had good experiences with the service here, everyone's always very friendly and personable! Great spot for big groups, as it's super spacious. Also, dog friendly!! My little guy loves to join me and my friends for a night out, enjoying his own special dog beer! The human beers are great too with a large selection, highly recommend!!“
“I came here on a Monday, just to have a couple of beers. I didn't realize it was trivia night so I ended up staying for a bit longer than expected. Spoiler alert: I didn't win. I didn't try any food but pizza seemed to be the only thing they offered. The beer list was a little disappointing since 80% of the beers listed were IPAs. I love that style but I know there are several that don't so that could be something to consider. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere to have a couple and enjoy the afternoon.“
“Really well crafted beers. The inside of the brewery is built and decorated to give you a warm, cozy feel. You will not feel like you're on Main St in EH. It made me feel like I was in a brewery in NH or ME. Worth the trip! Will definitely be back!“
“We have been to the Bergen House numerous times and it never disappoints! The owners and staff are so friendly and the service is spot on! The mead is delicious and we love stopping in to see what new flavors they have come up with! My favorites this time were Larry and Blueberry!“
“There are limited hours but worth the visit. The brewer/owner takes real pride in their beer and lets you sample the product and then order individual cans. All the beers are good but there are some that really fit my palate and I was able order a custom amount of cans. I’ll be back and I really appreciate this unique brewery with really really good unique beers. This place is about passionate beers rather than just making sales.“
“I've been meaning to try this brewery for a while now. Glad I finally got a chance to visit. No frills, casual atmosphere. Quality beer on tap. I definitely recommend the Stargazer and the Remington. Happy to have so many quality brewery choices in CT.“
“I visit this brewery occasionally because of how good their beer is. I have a soft spot for stouts and barrel aged beers, since not many breweries like to Brew them. New Park mailed those down perfectly. Their imperial stouts - Ferrous and Crane - are close to perfection with the rich coffee and chocolate taste. Cypress (barleywine) is arguably among the best barleywines I tried. IPA/DIPAs are also decent and hoppy of you're into this. There's plenty of space inside and they have a patio opened during warm months. The place also has its own kitchen and their website is up to date on both menu and the beer, which I personally appreciate.“
“Hosted a small gathering here and everything was amazing! Reserving tables was quick and easy, and we were able to set up decorations/bring in our own food. Great selection of beers, cocktails, and liquor - and great staff too! Recommend this spot to enjoy a beer, or host a party!“
“Wonderful craft beers and ciders are only the first attribute of Stubborn Beauty. The knowledgeable and kind staff make one feel welcome at their beautiful facility in a former 19th century brick factory building. You can BYOF takeout of choice to enjoy with their drinks either inside the brewery or at one the many picnic tables on their elegant outdoor terrace. This is a great place to hold functions like parties, fundraising galas, etc.“
“Great little brewery/venue. I come every year for Hoppy Holidays and have a really good time. You can get great food from The Lab, which is in the same complex, as is Rosie's Chocolates, among others. Very family (and dog) friendly, too.“
“I came in here on a Saturday afternoon when I was in town for the Hartford Marathon. It wasn't too busy and it was easy to find a seat. I ordered a flight and a half order of nachos. The half order was a large portion and they did not skim on the toppings!“
“This is easily the best pizza and bar in town. The pizza is an absolute standout--crispy thin crust and consistently delicious. The beer selection is solid and the staff is always so friendly. We are so happy they do trivia now on Tuesday nights!Definitely worth adding New Park to a must visit.“
“5.20.23 it was a rainy day, so about 10 of us decided to try this brewery. Initially it was packed but soon we found a table and enjoyed the live music & food truck. The 2 different stouts I had were amazingly good. Our entire group was surprised we could get mixed drinks and play games. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a go-back-to venue. Thank you to the super friendly wait staff, too.“
“Their beers are excellent. They have a six oz option so we tried several and liked all of them. They have staff that serve you at your table so you don't need to go to the bar. Everyone we spoke with there was friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. It is near the train station but you can only see the bottom of the trains from inside the brewery. They close at 8 pm, I hope they consider extending their hours.“
“A nice brewery and eatery with a variety of craft beer, ciders, and wine available. They offer a nice line up of beers from IPAs to stouts. The Graze eatery offers your typical pub snacks and meal options. The friendly staff and owners make sure you are taken care of. The brewery offers a nice outdoor patio with a fire pit and a view of the Arrigoni bridge over the Connecticut River. Many weekends the brewery offers live music. This brewery tucked by the bridge is worth finding.“
“We just had our baby shower at Counter Weight this past weekend and had an amazing time! The venue is beautiful and the staff was amazing! We worked with Nick to plan our event in the upstairs beer hall and even though we completely changed our contract the week of the event, Nick was super accommodating! The beer is amazing and they also have amazing non-alcoholic options. Thank you for helping us host a baby shower to remember forever!“
“We hosted our friend’s Celebration of Life at WeHa. Cody was flexible with us about the date/timing of the party as it coincided with an already pre-planned event. Additionally, he was very responsive to our many emails! The venue was beautiful, and it was a great location to get 100 people together to raise a glass to our live who passed.“
“Still Hill Brewery is located amongst some industrial offices. It looks unassuming from the outside, just like the rest of the business in the area. But inside you'll be greeted with the most pleasant bartender and a nice variety of beers. Still Hill is a smaller brewery. It's got a variety of seating available inside as well as a few outside. When I went there was a band playing some 60s music. They were very good! Some people were dancing. I had the Fruitatious Sourpuss Blood Orange Pomegranate. This was refreshing and tart, a good sour. My friend had the HoneyCrisp cider, this one is very light and crisp, I didn't try this one, but the name and very light nature of this one, seem like that's the perfect name for it.They have a variety of games to play, we played Uno cards while the band played and we drank our beers. They don't offer any food at Still Hill, but you are welcome to bring your own.“
“Lots of warm space very family friendly with ample roomBoth bench seating and high tops including an outdoor area.Artwork all over the walls gave it characterGood selection of beers.Pricing options were limited and wished they had flights, or 4oz small pours instead of a half pour for $6.That made it hard to sampleWe liked the NEIPA styles and the nectaron and Hayes road were our favorites.Food truck was there with a decent menu“
“Awesome brewery with photographic charm and great beer! I'm a wedding photographer and one of my couples specifically wanted Kinsmen for their engagement session. They arranged it and when we showed up, the staff welcomed us with open arms. We had a great time exploring the brewery and making awesome photos. You we had to have some beer before we left; it was delightful. I highly recommend Kinsmen Brewing!“
“We recently hosted an event here, from the start Andy was very responsive and very quick to get back to me. He was prompt and kept me up to date on the entire process. During our event our bartender Bianca was great and every one was so helpful. I highly recommend working with them for events and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend and will come back in the future for any event needs. Thank you again to all the staff.“
“Loud, happening brewery in downtown Hartford. Came late afternoon Saturday during March Madness and it was packed. Seating is first come, first served. Luckily a couple was leaving the bar area and we got to sit there. Beers were too bad and food was tasty. We enjoyed onion rings and fries, Philly steak sandwich, Buffalo chicken empanadas and a special sandwich on the menu. Beer and food is paid separately unless you're at the bar. We had a gift card giving us issues and luckily a bartender took care of it for us. Will check this place out again before a Yard Goats game this summer...“
“Great atmosphere! Came for pre-turkey day trivia which also was a blanket drive-- good cause! We like ciders and sours so did a flight with Sucker Punch'd and Scorpion Bowl being our favorites! Service was fast, friendly and helpful (the keg of scorpion kicking with my pour so they have me another of my choice, which was awesome). Would def stop in again!“
