Waitress took forever to bring replacement water and never asked how the food was. But she eventually came around after water was empty for 15 minutes.Prices were fair. “I arrived in a great environment with friendly staff and was sat immediately. The service was quick as well as the wait time as it took about 10ish minutes. During this time I had ordered dumplings. I was very impressed with the flavor and soon after my ramen had came out. The ramen was just as good but I had found there to be too many bean sprouts, but this is just a personal opinion. Overall a great place to visit with friends and family.“

“This place has become so popular over the last couple of years for their sushi. Literally drive out of.my way to come here whenever I get the chance. Food is always fresh and sushi is on point. Cannot recommend this place enough. But dinner time will be a wait even with a reservation as this place is so popular.“

“I ordered, via Uber eats, the Southside Pho with duck, seafood combo and vegetables. Wow! The broth is so authentic! The duck had crispy skin, the scallop was U12, the shrimp was easily U16, and there were 4! The calamari was beautiful, and fresh, crispy veggies:carrot, broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms, bean sprouts. Simply superb!! I asked for extra bean sprouts and Thai basil. Ordered their homemade garlic chili oil and lime on the side. This was wonderful! Now my go to for Pho, and I work in New Haven, so there are plenty of Pho options, but no competition/comparison...well done South Side Thai, well done! I'll be back!!“

“I drove by the other day and noticed a new sign that said grand opening. I was a little hesitant because the old Thai palace was a standout place, putting their spin on classics, but after hearing good things from my mom last night I couldn't wait. I treated myself to a little bit of everything tonight. Same delicious taste! And to be honest the pad se ew was better than ever! The only thing I would suggest is if you order a salad ask for the dressing on the side for takeout. I also requested no fish sauce for my curry because that's the way original owners always made it, though I know most Thai restaurants use it. Out of this world! “Delicious delicious! Went here based on good reviews. Small place - only 2 tables to sit at - really looks like a take-out place but the 4 dishes we ordered were delicious and we kicked the plate clean - 2 noodle dishes, chicken mango curry and chicken pineapple.“

“This is the best Thai food in the area. They have all the expected dishes with a few custom dishes that are especially good. One of them is kind of like massaman curry with some additional ingredients. The roti is great too. Highly recommend.“
