Fortunately this service was four stars. Unfortunately the meal was adequate at best. The clam chowder was highly recommended and I think my wife and I had only a couple of clams and maybe a piece of celery and a potato square in each cup. A French dip sandwich was very good.
Been coming here for over 30 years. I like that the new owner created an outdoor bar. The caveat to that area is the acoustics with the live music...Absolutely awful!! It's extremely loud to the point that it is difficult to hold a conversation. Will not go back to that area unless there's no live music...such a shame!!
Nice place. Food was ok. Nothing over the top. Daughter ordered the Lemon Haddock - looked and tasted bland and watery. Grand Princess had spaghetti which she said was good. I did the French Dip - it was good - the house made potato chips made the dish.
Their Bloody Marys are house made and are full of flavor. That was a huge plus.
