“The food at Gallo's is by far the best I've had in the area. They took extra care with our vegetarian quesadillas, creating an off-menu special with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all freshly cooked and packed into fresh and tender corn tortillas. They will make anything in a veggie version and also do gluten-free. The storefront restaurant is modest but has a warm feeling. Gallo's has the feel of a community favorite and the food is made with love. Can't recommend this gem enough!”

“Vernon Coffee Roasters is a welcome addition to Vernon. If you haven't tried their coffee yet, give it a try! The flavor is superb! They offer a poor over which is a must try. Absolutely amazing! Along with excellent coffee is the friendliest owner and staff you could meet.”

“I love supporting local small businesses! This place does not disappoint. They are super friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I have tried many different things and I am always very pleased. Yesterday I picked up some of their strawberry jelly and it tastes just like my mom's used to. 💜 Its the first one I've been able to find and putting it on their bread made either even better! I also picked up the Hungarian mushroom soup. It was so tasty and full of mushrooms! If you haven't tried this spot definitely put it on your list! You won't be disappointed 🥰”

“I’ve been here countless times and the food is consistently very good. The servers are always friendly too. Tonight I sat at the bar after a class and ordered grinders for takeout. Absolutely THE best grinders we’ve had in forever. My veggie and cheese grinder was LOADED with veggies! My husband’s grinder had so much nest he could have created 2 more grinders. “I'm visiting from out of state, and I like to find places to eat that I don't have back home. I love loaded fries, so this was a no-brainer for me. I ordered the taco fries without jalapeños. The service was great, the presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was excellent. The fries themselves, aside from any toppings, are thick-cut, earthy-tasting, legitimate freshly-made from handcut potatoes. The toppings were generous and flavorful, and didn't taste generic or store-bought. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to eat here again on future visits to the area!”
