Great experience, went with family and friends after church on Sunday . We had a great reception we had a big group of people and forgot to make a reservation but once we got there they work it out , and Zé tried to accommodate all of us it was our fault not to call before. But everything went smoothly fine.
Food was great , very friendly

The Atlantic Restaurant is a Portuguese/Mediterranean spot in the Danbury area. Under new ownership with a talented new cook, the restaurant has greatly changed for the better. The dining room is beautiful, with a nice bar area on the other side. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes guests feel right at home. One server, Phillipa, was incredible and attentive. The new owners are friendly and welcoming, bringing complimentary bread and olives to the table. The food is authentic Portuguese and absolutely delicious. Dishes include bochechas de porco (pork cheeks) with an incredible sauce and fresh Portuguese roll, flamed chorizo, and perfectly prepared octopus. The steak sandwich is good and cheap. Great bread, great soups, and really good meals are offered. The portions are perfect, and the drinks are incredible. The food is very good, though the menu is a little limited and a little more expensive compared to other Portuguese restaurants. Prices are very reasonable. The Atlantic Restaurant is a Danbury staple and guests will definitely be coming back.
