“Out of the 3 chains, chili's, Applebee's and Friday's, chili's definitely has the better tasting food. The cheesesticks and wings, boneless or bone-in, taste way better at chili's. The burgers here are also better than the other chains, as well as the steak and ribs. Prices are competitive as well as drinks. Atmosphere is probably the same. Woukd recommend chili's out of the 3 chains. Food is what makes the place and chili's definitely has the better tasting food.“

“We are beyond thrilled that we chose The Redding Roadhouse for our wedding! We wanted a non-traditional celebration, and the team here brought that vision to life seamlessly. With 135 guests, we opted out of a sit-down dinner and instead had heavy cocktail hour stations all evening. The flow of the space made it so versatile - guests could sit at a table and enjoy a meal and conversation, hop on the dance floor and grab a corn dog on the way through the bar, or relax at a picnic table with lawn games. Even without assigned seating, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the evening exactly as they wanted.

The venue itself is stunning, and the upstairs bridal suite was perfect for our large wedding party. About 15 of us comfortably got ready there the morning of the wedding, and it set the tone for a relaxed, fun start to the day. Our ceremony on the large lawn was beautiful, with such a picturesque backdrop for our vows. For the reception, we tented the outdoor patio as our dance floor, which kept the energy flowing all night, while the fire pit gave guests a cozy spot to enjoy the music without being in the middle of it.

Dietary needs were handled with so much care. We worked with both the chef and the event coordinator, Kristina, to create delicious vegan options and thoughtful accommodations for guests with more severe allergies. The bartenders were fantastic, keeping the line moving quickly all night and every cocktail was spot on. Our guests were so impressed, and we felt completely confident that everyone was taken care of. No one left hungry!

On the night of the wedding, the event staff was incredible. The space stayed spotless, stations were always full, and the service never skipped a beat. Kristina went above and beyond during planning too, helping us design a unique floor plan, rearranging the restaurant to fit our stations and décor, and even transforming the general store into a candy bar and bakery counter.

We can’t recommend The Roadhouse enough for any private event. Beautiful, flexible, and supported by an amazing team, it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding and create memories we’ll cherish forever.“

“I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.“

“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner who we recently spoke with on the phone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and special. If you are looking for a great place to dine in I highly recommend Mezzaluna Restaurant“

“Bigger on the inside than it looks. They have a good size performance stage, a lot of pool/billiard tables, 2 dart boards, a couple of arcade machines, and a bar with a big variety of bottled beers, wine, and liquors. Pizza and hot dogs are offered for a while.“

“The restaurant is very well done. The atmosphere is great and well thought-out. I have been there twice and service was exceptional both times. Valet parking is a nice touch for a cold night. The food is a bit disappointing for this price point. I ordered an ahi crusted tuna special that came out partially frozen. They told me it came with grilled asparagus but it was served with sauteed spinach. This was fine, as I used the spinach to melt the tuna. The steak tartare app was just ok. My guest ordered the lobster fra diavolo and it took them 25 minutes to alert us that they ran out of lobsters. This was after they told him they ran out Peroni beer. The desert was solid and nice selections of after dinner teas.“
