“my family ordered lunch from Isabel's to eat at home, but weve also stopped by in person to eat little snacks. so many food options on their menu and its all delicious, and I have a restrictive diet, but I still can eat many options. also, the hot chocolate, if you arent a big fan of Mexican hot chocolate, you can get a cup and mix it with american hot chocolate at home and it becomes incredibly delicious. idk, thats what I do when I get hot chocolate. “This restaurant is lmost hidden in a small strip mall, just a quarter mile from the Orange West Haven line, this family run, friendly Taqueria is definitely a hidden gem. As you walk inside the vibrant colors and ambience surround you with hand painted Mexican scenes on the tables, carved colorful chairs and warmth from the friendly staff. There are only about 12 or so tables. The food servings are generous and full of fresh vegetables, cheese and delicious well cooked meat. It is a great place for a relaxed meal or take-out. Support this easily accessible Post Road family business and enjoy!!“

“Came here for the first time while driving through Bridgeport and was pleasantly surprised. They have an extensive menu that includes staple dishes like tacos and burritos, with harder to find dishes like Tlayudas, which are these amazing Mexican pizza like open face quesadillas native to the Oaxaca region. I devoured it. My partner was able to custom design her burrito so that it conformed to her vegan diet; cactus, beans peppers & onion burrito!

They also had a ton of freshly squeezed juice options like watermelon, lemonade etc., and the service was really attentive and helpful about customizing my partners meal

The menu is in Spanish so if you want to try some of the off beat options I recommend you bring a Spanish speaker with you, otherwise just go for simple dishes!

Overall this place was one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I’m half Mexican I’ve been eating it all of my life and have pretty high standards for the stuff

The tortillas have a chokehold on me. They're so soft and light.
The vegetarian options are excellent. I love the black bean tacos.
They even have a soft+hard double shell option, which is fantastic.

“Pretty good tacos, I had steak and cheese and carnitas, my friends got ground beef and queso and my boyfriend got the longanizas taco combo. This steak and cheese one is very American flavor profile, carnitas is very traditional Mexican flavor profile and the longaniza was not that spicy. The chips are really good, super thin, crispy and a little bit greasy but really good. The salsas are good, the queso was good but not spicy at all. They have Mexican sodas, Coca-Cola and jaritos. The restaurant is really small, there were two other groups of two in there and we could all hear each other's conversations. It's very tiny, but the staff is nice and the tacos are good.

Vegetarian options: There's decent vegetarian options, and you can ask them to modify most things. We get things modified there all the time. Most of the time it's done correctly, but if you stress that you have an allergy or that you're vegetarian they will make an effort.

Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has an onion allergy and we have ordered from there bunch of times, most of the time it's correct and when I have had to ask them to remake something because there was onion in his dish, it was not a problem.

Parking: There's a small handful of spots in a free parking lot, you can also park on the street, but it's a little ways down and you'd have to walk because the side street has a family dollar right next door so you have to park on the other side of that if there's no spots in that tiny lot.“

“As first time visitors it was a little difficult to find but staff in the store were really kind and helpful. This is located in Azteca Market. It's in the back of the store.

The young lady who gave us our order did so with a pleasant smile.

The birria tacos were great. Definitely best enjoyed fresh however they still had a nice crunch after the ten minute car ride home.

The steak burrito was also very flavorful and filling.

We got two sides of rice and beans (one came with the burrito and the other as a side). Neither of these were anything to write home about. The rice was very bland and the beans were good but nothing special.

I was going to Madison deli on the street, but decided to pop inside Paraiso instead. So glad! Ordered a shrimp quesadilla, not in the menu, but most places I've found are accommodating. I got the meal, which comes with rice and beans. I was gonna get a side of guacamole, but at $7, it was too rich for my blood. Figured I'd just enjoy what came with the meal. The inside is clean, quiet, you're not right on top of the next table. I was getting mine to go, but they are offering dining in. My plate came to 17.50. Got home. Cracked it open. A very decent portion. Heavy! I like that when I spend a lot! The quesadilla was on. The. Money! Fresh, ample shrimp. Gooey cheese. The rice and beans was tasty and fresh! Perfect texture of beans. And a fresh salad on the side with a sliced avocado. I was disappointed there was no guacamole, or even sour cream. “So we stopped there cause my friend was buying a car from someone and that's the parking lot they choose to meet. I've never even been to that part of CT before. I had the chicken quesadilla, OMG the chicken was seasoned and cooked amazingly. The tortilla was toasted perfectly (and it was huge) great overall meal. My friend had a couple different tacos which he said were amazing. Even our waiter was friendly, willing to give his preferences, he would check on us to make sure we were good. Haven't had good experiences for awhile now so this was a nice change. Hopefully I'll have a reason to visit that part of CT so I can stop there again. Definitely worth the time to check out.“

“Im a dining service director from new Hampshire but the company i worked for has kitchens in CT drove Monday for a 2 day trip Tuesday call my gf at home ask her do you want pizza she said sure.
So I call order 2 large pie cheese 1 medium pie pepperoni.
My order got confused and I got all pepperoni and the chef told me im sorry made a mistake I will make you a cheese free of charge and I said no need too.
A good chef admit mistake and take care of a costumer but I will say this was the best pizza that I had in my life omg I was driving 95 eating yum pie.
Got home gf N grandkids were swimming in the pool waiting they loved the pizza and they said can we go and get more.
