“I eat a lot of authentic Mexican food. This place is definitely very good. Haven’t had anything from here I didn’t enjoy. I order at least 3 times a week since I live up the road. My favorite being the Enchilada Cemita. I recommend El Gallo Dorado to everyone.“

“Easily the best Mexican place in town. I've been coming here for years and the quality of the food and the service has never faltered, even during the pandemic. The staff are incredibly nice and work hard to make sure you have a great time. Food is delicious and authentic for the price. Great place for parties and large groups as well, for any occasion! Parking: Go slow in the parking lot as it's usually busy around dinner time. The lines are hard to see so take your time finding a spot“

Ordered the carne asada burrito.The restaurant was clean and the customer service was excellent.Visited on 2/19/24 to have the burritos I purchased on 1/16/24 rewrapped, they had fallen apart when I got home. The staff was friendly, kind and understanding. The food as always, delicious. I wish I could given then 10*.

“Food is great. Service needs to improve. My friends and I were there for dinner. It took almost 30 minutes to order and get a drink. Then I asked for our soup prior to the meal. Each of our meals came out separately, like we were three different orders, so we really did not eat together. The soups finally came out at the end and when I told the girl we did not want the soups, she said we couldn’t change it and we had to pay for it because we ordered it. Then when we brought this to the managers attention, they said well we’ll give you five dollars off the bill. The other thing I didn’t like was they added 15% tip in. I should decide how much a tip is going to be depending on how good the service and how fast things are. Places that add a tip to the Bill basically are telling you they don’t care how bad the service was you’re still going to give them a tip. I disagree with that.“

“We ordered and picked up. We had ordered from them years ago and were not that impressed. We'd heard that they had stepped up their game and decided to give it a try. Ordered nachos and my husband ordered a combo platter. I thought it was pretty good! Still not as good as Mexican food in the Bronx, but we'll definitely order from them again.“

“we got two entrees and an app. the chips were forgotten and there was a wait but very understandable with being grand opening around dinner time hours. birria was phenomenal IMO. “I can't speak for in person service since I only ever get delivery, but the good here is so good.
The tortillas have a chokehold on me. They're so soft and light.
The vegetarian options are excellent. I love the black bean tacos.
They even have a soft+hard double shell option, which is fantastic.

“Wow.... how have I never been here before. I pass it all the time. I have to say, from the outside, it's not very inviting. Maybe they could use more windows so you can tell of they are open or not. I was going to Madison deli on the street, but decided to pop inside Paraiso instead. So glad! Ordered a shrimp quesadilla, not in the menu, but most places I've found are accommodating. I got the meal, which comes with rice and beans. I was gonna get a side of guacamole, but at $7, it was too rich for my blood. Figured I'd just enjoy what came with the meal. The inside is clean, quiet, you're not right on top of the next table. I was getting mine to go, but they are offering dining in. My plate came to 17.50. Got home. Cracked it open. A very decent portion. Heavy! I like that when I spend a lot! The quesadilla was on. The. Money! Fresh, ample shrimp. Gooey cheese. The rice and beans was tasty and fresh! Perfect texture of beans. And a fresh salad on the side with a sliced avocado. I was disappointed there was no guacamole, or even sour cream. Luckily I had my own dollop of daisy to add but I'll sadly have to try the guac another day. Either way im writing this F-U-L-L. I'll be back!“
