Mama Rosa Restaurant is a great place with a friendly atmosphere. The food and service are excellent as always, with good sized portions that are very fresh and warm. The tableside Guacamole is a popular appetizer, and Special Tacos and Fajitas are excellent meals. The carnitas de puerco with mole poblano, beans, and rice is terrific, with tender pork shoulder and a delicious mole sauce. The salsa n chips are flavorful, and the margaritas are always amazing. The service is fantastic, with very attentive servers. Everything is consistently good and amazing. The food is on the $$$ side but well worth it, making it the best Mexican restaurant in Connecticut.
