“The dosa varieties are awesome. If you love dosas and are looking for an authentic dosa taste this is the perfect place to go. The service is very good and the staff keep checking in on you. For a four member family the meal cost could come to about 60-80$. The place is a bit small and hence you would always find it crowded on weekends“

“This was my first time trying their cuisine and I was not disappointed. I had the Parotta with curry chicken and it was so flavorful. The Parotta was soft, warm and the curry chicken had the right balance of spice and flavor, perfect combination of the too. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with selecting from the menu. “Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯“

“With traveling around a lot for work and my kids sports, i try a lot of restaurants around the state. Joe and his staff are polite, friendly and courteous. The food (especially the naan) is amazing and well worth the trip. The kids enjoyed the lassi's as well. Highly recommend to go here“

“We were driving back after a long day and decided to stop at this place. Let me tell you, the food was great but the experience was a bit confusing. The sign on the venue exterior implies the food is all vegan. But it's actually a vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan options. But the vegan options are not clearly labeled on their menu. Luckily, the staff can easily identify for you what is and isn't vegan. However, this means that the items I was excited to order were off limits for me. Another confusing thing about the experience is the fact that paper menus are not handed out but instead plastered on the wall. Not idea, but hey, it worked. We were also instructed to place our orders online using a qr code. I'm not sure if it's possible to just call in an order. Having said all of that, the food was really good and flavorful. And you get plenty of food for the price. Well worth the hassle of ordering. I definitely plan on returning. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-10“

“We’ve been searching for a new Indian restaurant after our favorite place went out of business. We went to Bhog tonight for the first time for our anniversary and loved it! Our server was so welcoming and friendly. She recommended the Cauliflower Manchurian for an appetizer, and it was delicious. Both of our meals were excellent as well. We will be back!“

“I drove by Bombay Olive for years. Sunday night a friend suggested we go for dinner, now I’ll never look back. It was difficult choosing dishes but everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. “The food is always delicious no matter what we order! The service is friendly and responsive; fast but you never feel rushed. Their food is fresh, rice is fluffy, vegetable are my favorite.
