Liz and recent trainee Chris did a phenomenal job making mouth-watering sushi burritos for us. The flavors matched perfectly, every note had its spotlight, and the burrito was manageable to eat. Nothing spilling gratuitously out the sides or anything. “I had a situation where I got home and part of my order was missing. No big deal, humans make mistakes. I called in and spoke to Krystal and she said to come in and she would take care of it. I didn't have my receipt when I retuned today. But another manager, Nicole, was amazing. She didnt give me a hard time about it and was actually very pleasant. Right away you can tell they care about their customers. They have seen me a bunch in the store and they made me feel like they never wanted that to stop. In a time when so many are in customer service and actually loathe it, it is so refreshing to find the few that treat their customers the way I would. I love this place and I’ll certainly be back. “I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

“Great all around place with friendly staff and good quality food. I had the most delicious pancakes I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant, delicious eggs, bacon, and potatoes at the self serve. The breakfast sandwich is delicious as well. Definitely a go-to place when I’m in town.“

“We are good customers that come to the Rocky Hill Salad bar at least a couple times per week. The staff is wonderful, the service is wonderful and most days, the burritos are delicious. Our issue is with consistency. We took off one star on the service because of the lack of consistency. We go for the fresh food served daily. However, when it comes to the "building of the burritos" we can usually tell who has made the burrito because today, for instance, it was so skimpy, I question about going back because it makes us so mad when we get these barely filled burritos. I want to say, the majority of the time, we praise this place, we highly recommend them, because the food is so fresh and tasty and USUALLY, the burritos are bursting at the seams. It all depends on who makes your meal. Today's burritos (all of them) were extremely skimpy. For the amount of money we spent, we don't expect to end up hungry after eating our meal. Like I said, normally we are very satisfied, but someone there (according to all of us) that is known for skimping on the meal. Today was that day. We were all dissatisfied with our burritos. The picture shows the middle of a meat burrito that is suppose to have meat in it, but you can barely see a drop of meat. Normally it's big and fat, today it was like eating a flat lettuce and tomato sandwich.“

The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.“

“If you’re looking for Mexican food on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, you have choices. If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

“Panini was good but the accommodation to me being celiac (Gluten free) was great! They switched to new gloves without asking and when they accidentally touched regular bread they made a whole new panini without even asking. They also wrap the panini in tin foil before pressing. One of the best gluten free experiences I’ve had for a fast food-esque restaurant!“

“Stopped by for the first time today, first briefly just to get a bubble tea to go and then a couple hours later after walking around the town to get a late lunch. We got drunken noodles, yellow curry, and gyoza - all very delicious! The spice level was great and it didn't take long to get our food. The staff were kind and attentive and the owner(?) was too and indulged all our questions even the weird ones lol. The location is nice though restaurant itself is pretty small and I think maybe doing away with the table on the right by the front door would be better for to-go orders waiting but otherwise it was a nice place! “We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. “Love this place, perfect lunch spot while working on the road. The steak sandwich.It is quite different from most places. This is not shaved steak, but cut very thinly. They roast your own peppers, which are excellent. There veal cutlet is also very good. They offer hot plates throughout the week that changes every day. It's a very authentic italian deli“

“The Natural Orange Juice was very fresh and full of flavor. It was noticeable that the oranges were very fresh and the juice was very pure. I also tried the banana shake which was very delicious.

“I think this must be a training issue because it’s new this year and happens every single time - I never get my drink. I order on the app and sit at a table. I get my food, and then they walk away. Once in awhile they bring me my drink, but usually not before I’m done with my food. This is at the least the fifth time this has happened here, maybe closer to the tenth.“
