“Went to the Haven Hot Chicken in North Haven with my son. I got The Sandwich with Medium heat, and my son got The Sandwich with Haven heat and fries. The sandwiches and fries were delicious. The workers there were courteous and helpful explaining about the different heat levels. The place has a great atmosphere and was clean.“

“Outstanding food in the heart of New Haven. It's a small, clean place with huge portion sizes. The service was attentive and the staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the different dishes. I had the lomo saltado (classic Peruvian stir-fried beef dish with fries) and my dining partner had a Peruvian rotisserie chicken sandwich. The food is flavorful and an assortment of sauces were provided to add different flavor profiles - spicy, sweet, tangy, etc. We sampled some sauces, which tasted great, but the food was well-seasoned, so we did not need to add any sauces. We both left happy and full. On another date, I also ordered an arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood). There was many pieces of seafood (mussels, crab, shrimp, squid) and it reminded me of the times I had paella in Spain. Icaru is an excellent addition to the New Haven food scene and is a must try for people interested in exploring the diversity of dining in New Haven!“

“Really Delicious and a perfect ending to a work week. We placed an order on Friday night through UberEats to be delivered after seeing an up to 60% off promo code emailed to us in addition to a Buy 1 Get 1 free Chicken Sandwich promotion. (Otherwise it looked like each sandwich would have been a bit over $16 each?!) This was our first time trying and were super pleased. We ordered 4 sandwiches of the following heat levels: Country - No Spice Mild - Hint of Spice Medium - Proper Spicy Haven - For The Hot Head I'm not a heat super fan so the Country and Mild were mine and awesome. My husband had the Medium and Haven. He loves heat and even admitted that maybe next time he'll opt for the Hot one instead of Haven. We ordered extra Rob sauce to dip the massive quantity of fries a Large size contained and threw in a mac and cheese for good measure. Would we order again. Absolutely, as long as the price is right. It truly is one of the best chicken sandwiches in the area!“

“Usually, I get the crispy chicken nugget meal. I have tried the chicken sandwich, and both are a hit. Line is somewhat a wait, but it is always worth it. Also, I love my cookie and cream milkshake. ? Lemonade is usually good, my first go-to with the meal. I'm just happy to have a location in CT. The one located in the casino doesn't hit the same.Parking: Parking gets a little crazy when the drive thru is busy. But there are plenty of spaces to park at the restaurant and also close by“

Its definitely an amazing restaurant with quick amazing service run by very nice people.
