“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. The waitress always gives us great attention. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield County. You won’t get better sushi, hibachi, or service anywhere else!“
