“No rating today. The waitress, that took care of me, 2x’s, I was there.
I had the porter house with eggs and then a New York Strip, with an omelette. Perfect. Today, the cook, was off his game and served me, the worst NYS, I have ever had. 3 cuts and done. There were 3 over easy eggs, I did not order. I ordered 3 egg/cheddar omelette. So, unfortunately I sent it back. She brought me the omelette and no steak. I’m looking at a place to live, down the road. I hope this never happens again. The prices are great. The coffee is great. The cook is good but today was not a good day. Anyway, let’s hope for the best. The skinny waitress, is my favorite.
I will still give it a 5 because today was a Flook.”

“The Farmhouse is a great family run establishment. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and reasonably priced. Ice cream and shakes are great and restaurant is clean and decorated beautifully. Come for the Clam Bake in the summer and the cider donuts in the fall.”

The vibe at Ore Hill is romantic, intimate, rustic and calm. We participated in the chefs tasting menu with an attached wine pairing that was perfectly matched to the meals we were eating. From the second we walked in the door to the second we left the staff was welcoming, kind, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. Ore Hill sources their produce from a local farm called “Rock Cobble Farm” that they are in collaboration with which makes the dining experience even more special. Everything we ate was fresh and vibrant. Ore Hill truly is a diamond in the rough here in Connecticut and really is branching off from a traditional dining experience. For anyone looking for a romantic and intimate experience, make your way over to Ore Hill. You will be nothing but satisfied and happy. “I have been ordering from Vinny for years now. I lived in California, and now in North Carolina. Vinny's Marinara sauce is so good I have been having it shipped to me for years. There is no sauce that holds a candle to this. You can't buy anything remotely close to the sauce! And as always, it is a pleasure speaking to Vinny when I order. I just wish I lived close enough to get his food!!!!”

“What an amazing place for live music!! Sat at the end of the bar and watched an amazing Chris Cornell cover band. Bartenders were busy, but so polite and professional. I had wings and Philly Cheesesteak which were delicious. They have Captain Lawrence IPA on tap. Best mixed drink is a Smokey Manhattan! I live in Long Island, but will definitely venture back here again.”

“Hi. I had never been to Tandoori Flames Restaurant or even had Indian cuisine before this evening. I was very pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I really loved the Mango Chicken and Butter Chicken my friend and I ordered and shared, and highly recommend both dishes. They have a great staff. All of the people that worked there were very friendly and nice. Our waiter was very helpfully informative, nice, friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean, and bright and had a very pleasant, warm, welcoming atmosphere all around. We really enjoyed it. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't been here before, you really should give it a try. Thank you so much for the lovely evening. I will be back.”
