Tisumi Sushi Reviews
Not a huge fan of the sushi. Always fresh but small portions, the rice has a specific aromatic flavor (not sure what exactly) that I've never tasted in other sushi rolls. Bento boxes are good!
Nice place, very quiet on a Friday night. The food was good just a bit salty. Their fried rice is not the best. I think they did the fried rice the way they did to mix it up with the sauce from the vegetables. I had better fried rice somewhere else. The shrimp had the tail which wasn’t bad, but would’ve loved to have it without it. Overall, not a last minute place to eat if you can’t decide what to eat.
Good food and price. I highly recommend this place for sushi.

Tisumi Sushi offers quick service and fresh food for takeout. The restaurant is known for its friendly and attentive staff, who consistently provide fast service even when busy, making it a great spot for lunch breaks. Customers appreciate that orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality, and whether dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is smooth and enjoyable. While portions may have decreased slightly over the years, the food remains "pretty good" and includes sushi, bento box lunch specials, and the hibachi lunch special (chicken). Some customers have noted that the restaurant introduced a 1.7% credit card fee, leading to some seeking alternative payment options. Occasionally, there could be challenges with phone orders due to background noise or staff's soft speaking, but overall, the restaurant continues to be a favorite for fresh sushi and great service.
During dinner times, the restaurant can be quiet, with only a few tables taken, as many customers pick up orders to go. This sometimes results in longer wait times for the 4 rolls, but the staff remains friendly, and the rolls are praised for their quality and taste. The interior is simple and clean, fitting typical Gbury prices for specialty rolls. The helpful staff often guides customers to menu items they might enjoy based on their preferences. The fish is high-quality and beautifully presented, and meals often come with a salad and miso soup. Even non-sushi items like yaki udon and gyoza are found to be delicious. Desserts such as the chocolate soufflé have also exceeded expectations. Many visitors find Tisumi Sushi a lovely place to eat, especially those who have enjoyed their meals over the years, including takeout. The restaurant is recommended for trying multiple dishes to experience the variety of flavors it offers.
