“The staff here are the best! Arrived after 9pm after a long drive and without a reservation, was seated immediately. We ordered a habachi combo and when the salad arrived with a lot of dressing we asked the staff to cook our habachi with no seasoning. They said yes but asked the manager to speak to us to understand exactly what we wanted. In the end she suggested less sauce. The beef and prawns were perfect (tender & juicy) as were the rest of the plate. Hot and satisfying! The Rock & Roll was also fantastic, well proportioned. Very good experience and will return when we are in town!“

“The sushi was absolutely amazing!! The only thing I'd tell you to be careful of is look at the end charge and save your receipt. I went with a friend after visiting my son in the hospital and we showed up at 8pm and I remember how much the total was cause she left the tip and taught me a trick, but I was so flustered I lost the receipt but the cleared charge was $7 more. Otherwise the special rolls were amazing!! And the tea was very calming.“

“Stopped in at Ginger Root to check it out since it had such good reviews and they did not disappoint! Got general tsos chicken with lo mein and an egg roll. The lo main was super flavorful, the chicken was tender and the egg roll had the perfect crunch! Will be back again!“

“I went there today and my boyfriend and I enjoyed every bite of everything we ordered. salad was fresh, miso soup was tasty, steak and shrimp hibachi was sooooo good. the coconut shrimp was nice and fresh and crunchy. the scorpion bowl was perfect. all we needed was one and we was feeling nice. we was impressed with the cheap prices. with 67$ we both had a hibachi entree and appetizer soup , salad and a scorpion bowl for 2..... then we got a tuna mango sushi roll on the house... ❤️ You need to go and try for yourself.“

“I love this place. Their sushi Iwasn't expected to really enjoy. It's hard to find a good sushi spot these days. The place could possibly use alittle upgrade but honestly the food was my most important part especially the sushi. Definitely recommend. Will be coming back.“

“The spicy tuna appetizer with avacado was amazing, as was the tuna tartar. The shrimp pad thai was light and so delicious! A ginger crem brulee was enjoyed for dessert.“

“I have never had an opportunity to dine in.. however, everytime I come to pick up my take out the staff is always friendly and the resturant is clean ans inviting. The food is always 10/10 no matter the time of day!! All requests are met everytime!!“

“Found this gem when using Google to find a nearby sushi restaurant. Very nice staff, friendly and fast service. Food was very good. The kimchi tofu soup was a pleasant surprise to try, will definitely be getting that again. I love Boba tea, didn't dissapoint. Had the spring rolls for appetizer, crispy and flavorful. Tried our favorite classics spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, very happy with our experience. will be coming back. Don't forget your Sake!“

“This place was so amazing, I'm writing this review in the parking lot while I digest enough to be able to drive home lol. First off, we went during lunch. It was nice and quiet and very cozy and i loved we were the only ones in there for a nice and quiet lunch since our baby was asleep. We had just came from Pumpkin Town down the street and i was really warm, the waiter noticed and offered to turn on the A.C for us which was the beginning of the awesome service we recieved. The menu had a variety of sushi and rolls but we went with something simple like the Shrimp tempura 🍤 and Chicken tempura. It was my first time trying the chicken one and it was soooooo good!!! We then tried the Hibachi chicken and shrimp from their lunch menu. For $15 it was the perfect portion for me and my fiancé to share after the rolls we ate. Everything was so good I forgot to take a picture of the food before we finished it lol. The staff was just beyond amazing and were constantly refilling our drinks and taking plates off the table as we finished. We did NOT need to ask for anything! I would absolutely recommend this place 1000/10!!“

“My boyfriend and I tried Poke Sushi in Vernon tonight! We ordered the California roll, the veggie roll, and the shrimp tempura roll with mango added. The rolls were made immediately as we started paying for our food. It was neat to watch them being made. When we sat down to eat; they were amazing! The ingredients were VERY fresh! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!! We scarfed down the rolls and forgot to take a picture 😂“

“First time eating here and it was a FANTASTIC experience. From the moment my husband and daughter walked in they were greeted warmly. The man working was so nice my husband said it was the nicest encounter hes ever had at an establishment! Food was out of the norm of take out, very fresh and home-like. Ate family style with a little of everything to try. While the orange chicken had amazing flavor the chicken is a bit chewy. The teriyaki chicken for the win! It tasted grilled with the right texture not overcooked. Rice was a little lacking in flavor but with egg in the rice, all is forgiven. I would highly recommend the experience!“

Customer service was great. Taste is worth of going there. Just was a bit disappointed that they sale take away by pound, which should not be buffe style. Otherwise 10/10 ⭐“
