“The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“

“This place was a random pit-stop for us, as we were heading back from UCONN to Norwalk and it was one of the best culinary surprises.
It's a business with very well mannered staff; our waiter was very friendly, he didn't mind answering my questions about the little sides they served us before our food came out and he was polite the entire time.
The food was excellent!!! We had mussles, served in a light broth, heated in a chafer dish with a small burner, edamame salted just the right way, Seafood Udon Stir Fry and Eel Sushi (accompanied by additional complimentary avocado roll).
The nonalcoholic beer tasted good and my kiddo loved her Japanese soda (Ramune).
If I'm in the area again, I will make sure to stop by and try other dishes from the menu.“

“While I love the green curry, the duck noodle soup that I had this evening was fantastic. The broth was so well seasoned and the duck was amazingly tender. Thank you Thai House for another amazing dinner!!!“

“Delicious, fresh, and well portioned! Ordered their sashimi deluxe and a few of their spicy rolls. The sashimi is fresh and tastes great. The slices are good and not overly thin like some other restaurants. The spicy rolls had a good portion of fish mixed in, vs some other restaurants that overdo the sauce mix and put a tiny bit of fish in. The only part I didn't enjoy as much was an ala carte order of scallop sashimi.. maybe it just isn't in season because it tasted bland. But everything was good enough I would definitely order again.

In town for a business trip and craved some sushi. Wasn't liking lots of the places on Uber Eats and so stumbled upon this one. Was a little bummed my hotel was 0.5 miles outside their delivery radius, then discovered they're on GrubHub as well, which allowed my delivery! And I'm glad I stuck it out! This place beats even some of my favorites back home!“

“Found this gem when using Google to find a nearby sushi restaurant. Very nice staff, friendly and fast service. Food was very good. The kimchi tofu soup was a pleasant surprise to try, will definitely be getting that again. I love Boba tea, didn't dissapoint. Had the spring rolls for appetizer, crispy and flavorful. Tried our favorite classics spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, very happy with our experience. will be coming back. Don't forget your Sake!“

Kirsten who goes by Kris, took my order, was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and ensured I felt comfortable with my choices because my first option was sold out for the day! Brendon was equally impressive! His charm and respectfulness shone through as he assisted Kirsten by handing out the orders and keeping the dining area clean. I arrived just before closing, but both Kirsten and Brendon maintained their enthusiasm and were eager to serve me. Their teamwork made the experience even more enjoyable, and I truly appreciated their dedication to excellent customer service. “My boyfriend and I tried Poke Sushi in Vernon tonight! We ordered the California roll, the veggie roll, and the shrimp tempura roll with mango added. The rolls were made immediately as we started paying for our food. It was neat to watch them being made. When we sat down to eat; they were amazing! The ingredients were VERY fresh! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!! We scarfed down the rolls and forgot to take a picture 😂“

“The staff here are the best! Arrived after 9pm after a long drive and without a reservation, was seated immediately. We ordered a habachi combo and when the salad arrived with a lot of dressing we asked the staff to cook our habachi with no seasoning. They said yes but asked the manager to speak to us to understand exactly what we wanted. In the end she suggested less sauce. The beef and prawns were perfect (tender & juicy) as were the rest of the plate. Hot and satisfying! The Rock & Roll was also fantastic, well proportioned. Very good experience and will return when we are in town!“
