“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. “We were a party of 7. They seated in within 5min of arrival, in the small dining area. Our server was prompt and friendly. We ordered a cheeseburger with almost all of the toppings, a chili hot dog, plain hot dog, 3 pastrami sandwiches, a grilled chicken sandwich, a grilled cheese w bacon and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The food was very delicious, minus the hot dogs. They tasted like a store brand one and the chili was just okay. This location only accepts cash, there is an ATM on site. I'll definitely stop here again, when I'm in the area of Torrington.“

“This is our go to place when I am craving Fries and him Tenders, in two separate occasions we brought 8 people here and now it's there go to place. The loaded fries are absolutely divine I cannot get enough of them and I believe it's called sweet asian tenders forgive me if I am wrong my fiance orders 2 plates of them he really wants the recipe lol.
When we go now we always bring a group of people and our family who lives down south tells us every time they visit we all have to go to Sawyer's.
Also if you love Dart's it's a great place to play the game and chill.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021?? either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.“

“The delivery at that place is really quick. The food is also really good, especially the boneless spare ribs, the chicken broccoli, the chicken wings, and the golden fingers. Not to mention, the customer service is amazing. This is my go to Chinese restaurant.“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! “The lobster rolls are the best in northwest CT. The shrimp and grits are likely the top 5 I have ever had. Burgers are cooked to your preference. Dry rub wings are delish! Well crafted cocktails that hit the spot. The staff is lovely and attentive. Sunday live music brunch. Thursday nights are raw bar and a great happy hour til 6pm. Always a fun time with great food!“

“This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“

“Out of town patron, was headed to a Dominoes when as I walked up I looked over and saw the quaint looking Joe’s Pizza & Wings next to it.

Staff was very courteus, promptly took my order, a steak burger, two cans of coke. Fries were included with the $15.99 burger meal.

They came out and asked if I’d like a pickle, normally I don’t, but for some reason I said yes, and I’m glad that I did. Pickle was good enough to mention lol, guessing that it’s a hamburger dill spear, very good, none of the normal over-powering vinegar taste.

Burger was like 1/2 lbs with sliced/shaved steak on top, cheese, roasted or grilled onions and mushrooms, and red peppers. It was delicious.

Based on the locals I watched, and listened too as they picked up food, it’s a place people frequent. Staff shows a personal touch.“
