The Fisherman Restaurant at Long Point

The food was delicious and in many ways a unique menu. Our server - Jessica was just outstanding. Very attentive and friendly. Gave us good pointers about the menu. We would come back here and highly recommend the restaurant.

Our server never returned to check on us. Meantime, two of our dinners were served without the side sauce and the third person received the wrong dinner!! The food was ok but nothing special. Prices were higher than expected.

Expensive steak was delivered med well/well when I ordered it med rare. Nobody asked to see how our food was. Steak tasted good but was over cooked and not worth what I paid. Service overall was mediocre.

Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. The scallops were cooked to perfection; tender and very tasteful. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Great location on the water, excellent food and accommodating staff! You bet we'll be back!

It was a perfect day to sit outside on the patio right by the water and enjoy a great meal. The lobster Rangoon were the best we ever had, and we all enjoyed our meals. Margaritas were delicious too! If you've never been here, it's time for you to visit and enjoy a wonderful meal and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Food was excellent. Enjoyed the Seafood Jambalaya and Clam Linguine. Lobster Rangoon appetizer was good as well. Our server was cheerful and friendly.

We highly recommend the Fisherman Restaurant. Whenever we are visiting in the Groton, CT area, we make it a point to dine at the restaurant. Food is always well prepared and never disappoints. The seafood dishes are excellent. Also save room for the desserts. The service is always top notch and the setting on the water is picturesque and relaxing. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the summer, fall as well as the winter. Looking forward to getting back again soon.

We were there once before and we were happy so we made a reservation. It’s 20 miles from our house and we went there to have a nice dinner when a family member came in.
We got there. It wasn’t a packed parking lot went inside and there were a family waiting for the hostess. We waited 15 minutes. No one came to greet anyone I went over and I asked what’s going on to one of the waitresses. She said it was just herself and another person so we decided to wait a little longer and after a half hour we just walked out.
We went to another restaurant, but boy I am shocked no manager no one at all just the two girls in the restaurant boy has this place gone downhill

Haven't been in a while and the food was better than I remember. Lobster bisque was exquisite. Bang Bang Shrimp type appetizer was delicious. It will be a regular stop for me from now on.

Great food (Sea Scallops), great service, very nice atmosphere (next to the water), plenty of parking.

The Fisherman is one of CTs hidden gems that you really should seek out. We just had our daughter’s engagement party there and everything was perfect! The food was abundant and delicious. We had everything from buffalo chicken sliders to oysters to mini deep dish pizzas, everything came out hot and fresh. The chef, Zach, even came out a few times to check on us. The service was exceptional. Our server, Christina, was friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. She kept everyone’s glasses full and was always there when we needed her. Overall nothing could have made this any better!

Recently held a retirement dinner with twenty people in attendance. Worked with Zach, who was wonderful from start to finish, even tho I changed numbers a few times, going back & forth from the private upstairs room to the dining room. Ended up in the private room with Rachal as our server and all went perfectly! Everyone enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere and the evening. Would highly recomme nd!
