“Exceeded my expectations! I ordered through door dash and was so happy with the quality considering it was delivery. The salsa tasted so fresh and the chips are definitely homemade. They tasted like they'd just come out the fryer after 30 sec in the microwave. For my entree I got the Chicken Burrito which was amazing. It had so much flavor and was huge. Half of it is plenty to fill even the biggest appetite. I will definitely order from here again!“

“Was visiting New Haven last weekend (from Brooklyn) and had the pleasure of eating at Olmo not once, not twice, but three times!! For breakfast, every morning of my visit. The bagels so good, the menu so mouthwatering, the people so kind and welcoming— I couldn’t stay away! And I’m still thinking about it a week later…

The first morning I got the Hot Pastrami. It is, and i cannot stress this enough, DELICIOUS! A generous helping of pastrami—rivaling that of Katz Deli—paired with a mind-blowingly yummy spinach-artichoke schmear and some pickled onions sandwiched between a sesame seed bagel. Cannot recommend enough.

The next morning I had to try a new schmear (the schmear selection is thrilling). I went with beet and dill veggie on an onion bagel. Crunchy, refreshing, sweet. Yum.

I am a creature of habit so, despite my desire to try the basil feta schmear, the third morning I went with the Hot Pastrami again. Turns out lightning can strike twice, it was just as delish the second time.

This is a place that clearly loves their clientele and their craft. They were communicative, efficient, and so friendly. You immediately feel welcome. A must visit for any bagel lover who finds themself in New Haven!!“

“We went to Micro Creamery this weekend and it was delightful! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the ice cream. Good customer service is hard to find these days! The ice cream was delicious! They had several flavors to choose from. It was hard to decide on just one. The atmosphere is modern and cute! You can take a selfie pic with family and friends by the Ice Ice Baby back drop. Def recommend! We will be back! 😊“

“I had an amazing opportunity to cater a wedding of two great friends at The Brewery. I don't have enough great things to say about the place. The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME“

“This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Twelve Percent several times before and my experience was consistently high all the times. This is a contract brewery, so in fact it serves beers from multiple smaller brewers.

The brewery occupies a big separate building. It has a huge indoor space with no separation and a patio. There are multiple seating options inside the building including couches. No food is served, but the food trucks are usually onsite. They also have many different events in the brewery including rare ones like Homebrewer competition. The space might become a little crowded in the evening and you might encounter a limited seating.

The beers in this brewery are simply amazing. Everything I tried during my visits was exceptional. Plus I love Imperial stouts and not many breweries bother to brew them, but you can always find them here. It's hard to recommend anything specific as it is safe to just grab anything, but I particularly enjoyed Neil's French Toast Donut Stout (Imperial Stout) from Front Porch due to its rich and complex taste of a coffee donut. Beer flights are not served, but you can order a short pour of 6oz to try more beers.

I do recommend this place to anyone who loves good beer.“

“I live in Branford and I've been going to Caius since they opened. These guys kill it every time I'm there. They have a great selection and are delegent about keeping a fresh rotation of new beers. Yes, they are a little more expensive than other brewers, but they are well worth the extra cost. Every barkeep I've dealt with knows the beers well and does a great job on correctly serving the right pours for their respective beer. If you're a beer lover, I would highly recommend this brewery.“

“Walked into the shop with zero expectations just looking for a quick protein shake to hold me over and was completely blown away.

From the friendly and welcoming service to the extensive and delicious menu I was sold immediately.

And after drinking their chocolate peanut butter, low-calorie protein shake, they now have a permanent new client!

“There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut. It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. “Midpoint is one of those cute coffee shops one can find all over. This branch in the heart of the historic district is a nice touch. The couple of times I have been here, I found the coffee to be quite satisfactory. My one regret was in both occasions, I was in a hurry, and had to make my visit a quick in and out. I definitely loved the pastries I had. They hit the spot.
