“Everything about the food here was great. I went alone as I do most places that I do reviews for because I have time to sit and think about my food, the service, the environment, as oppose to when I’m with friends or family, which can be sometimes distracting. The sushi here is great. It’s a good lunch spot for yourself or with a friend. It’s definitely not the spot to take a large group.
My favorite sushi roll was the sweet potato roll.“

“Fantastic sushi bar. It’s pretty small and with limited bar seating which results in a more intimate experience. I got a red miso soup, the black cod appetizer, 2 hand rolls and 2 sushi bites, as well as a hen & heifer panna cotta dessert. Everything was delicious and the sushi tasted very high quality. It was fun to sit at the counter and watch everything get made as well. The only caveat is it can get pretty expensive if you go the omakase route (or depending on what kind of dishes you order)! I didn’t get anything to drink but there’s a nice selection of sake, whiskey and wine also!“

“First time here at a friend's recommendation. I've been looking for a Japanese restaurant and enjoyed the food a lot. We got beef and salmon teriyaki lunch specials. I got salad, friend had miso soup. Appetizers were salmon avocado Maki roll and Katsu. The Maki roll was creamy fresh. Katsu was very crispy outside, flaky inside. Both teriyaki dishes were delicious. I'll be back.“

“One of the better bang for your buck ayce sushi places with a decent selection of items to choose from on the menu.Started with a kani salad and seaweed salad both were fairly refreshing and pallet opening for what came next .The sushi was fresh with a good rice to filling ratio with a few unique rolls and chef creations .Tempura only had a few to choose from but still very tasty with a nice crunch especially the shrimp and the veggies.Grilled items were decent and flavorful but the squid was a bit tough .The beef udon soup was amazingly good and highly recommended order. Come hungry and try everything , we came between lunch and dinner perfect time before the dinner crowds packed the place.Thanks“

“Very attentive staff! Ate the Nage Yuki Udon! Excellent soup! Teriyaki chicken has a lite sauce with rice. Very tasty. Maki rolls well made and fresh! If you live local or are visiting like us... give this restaurant a try!“

“Anaya sushi is the old York Street Noodle House!!!! The sushi was just ok but the Spicy wok basil noodles were exactly as I remember them! The service was ok, no problems, one roll took a long time to come and once we got our food we did not see a server for a while. Would go back for noodles!“

I wasn’t sure what I wanted so they recommended something based on what I told them I liked and they were correct about it! “Was here recently on my PTO while staying in Wallingford! Everything was amazing start to finish! You will not be sorry if you eat here! I ate like a Queen! Highly recommend the Mango Delight, it was so amazing! Crab Rangoon was excellent, my Smoked Salmon Roll was wonderful, and the Pho. Let me talk about the Pho. The Beef Pho was so amazing! It was so comforting and wonderful. It felt like home to me. Such a wonderful soup. It does come with big portions so you may have to take it home. Great service and once again my compliments to the chefs and everyone there. If I’m ever in Wallingford again, I’ll be in again! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Fantastic poké bowls and delicious bubble tea. They give you plenty of protein in your bowl, about 2x from what I normally get in my bowls. 👍🏻
Easily got two meals out of my double protein bowl!! The tuna and shrimp were very fresh.
It's a cute little family run spot with a few tables and they also offer take out.
They also have some cool toys and trinkets for sale too.“
