I'm a professional musician that has at least 30 years of experience with providing music for private functions. I had an event booked at The Hartford Club (hired by the THC) and I received a call the day of the event cancelling saying that they double-booked music for the event. I understand that these things happen but you can't cancel the day of the event and not expect to pay the musicians.
