“Yes it is a gorgeous venue and a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos, but it's much more! It is community and caring. When there was a major catastrophe at an unscrupulous venue, the staff at Aqua Turf not only came through and allowed us to book ( 9 days out!!!) they tended to every detail. The bride was not only relieved of the stress but overjoyed by their generosity! This was a small wedding(smaller than they typically host) but they understood our crazy situation and came through on EVERY level. Definitely book your wedding or other event here. “Bourassa came to the rescue to cater our wedding at the Wadsworth Atheneum after a bad experience with our first caterer. Working with them was a dream. All communication was prompt and straightforward from our first interaction to the day of our wedding. They even sent us a thank you card after we selected them as our caterer, which was a nice, personal touch! They were flexible and willing to work with us to customize the menu and the food was incredible (definitely get the mac and cheese appetizer)! Everyone from our event coordinator, Nikki, to the chefs, owner, and the event staff were so professional and delightful to work with. They were so attentive and detail-oriented on the day of; someone even followed us around with a plate of apps during cocktail hour to ensure we had a chance to eat! We can't thank them enough. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them!“

“Pete did a pig roast for my grandparents 65th anniversary party we had ages ranging from 1-85 years old attend and every single person raved about how amazing the food was! Everything was amazing from the mains to the sides it was perfect for our event and the kids got a kick out of Pete dressing up the pig head! They all loved it!“

“Michael's Catering was who we used for our wedding on 9/30/23. It was absolutely delicious! There was plenty of food and so much left over! It was well worth the price especially for such delicious food. We chose the silver buffet menu. They were all so great and so prepared that when we had a huge hiccup in our wedding ceremony time, that they jumped to it and got hors' doeuvres out for the guests instead of making them wait. Highly recommend!!!“

“CT WEDDING GROUP!! Where do we begin?? From the moment we walked through the doors until we said our “I do’s” everything was perfection. This band of a team is the best thing going! The Pavilion is breathtaking, and the food is incredible. Our guests were in heaven with bbq in a jar & the blazing donuts! The service was remarkable. Most importantly, THE PEOPLE. Boots on the ground is an understatement. On the days leading to our wedding most would assume it would have been stressful. The team made it easy! Everyone is professional, thoughtful, creative, responsive, kind, and experts at what they do! We feel now we have a new fam on the lake and we are forever grateful. “The food was great BUT.... when the man arrived with the food it was expected that my party guests and I unload the truck AND set up the catering trays! When booking the event no one informed that I would to need to provide my own help to get the food set up - I hired a caterer so I didn’t have to do that. It was quite disappointing to realize a bunch of my guests were lugging heavy catering dishes from the truck and trying to find a tool to open and light the sternos! Had I know I would have hired someone to be there to do it instead of making my guests do it. Once the food was set up it was good. The veggie chili was delicious and everyone raved about the BBQ ribs and chicken. I would forego the green beans and lemonade/ice tea. Those things just weren’t worth it. Overall I would recommend them with a caveat that you must know that for the price you’re not guaranteed a full catering setup. Disappointed.“
