“I have nothing but rave reviews for the 1741 Pub & Grill. I had never visited before and was very impressed with the presentation of the dining room. The wait staff were congenial, pleasant and wonderful and accommodating. The menu was outstanding and the best Valentine's Day experience I have ever had. I was so pleased with the food, the experience and the venue. I will wholeheartedly come back if you should do this again next year. Thank you for a great experience!!“

“It was Valentine's Day, so it was very busy. Service was a bit slow because they didn't have enough servers. And sitting near the bar it was a bit noisy at first. Eventually many of the bar-goers left and it was quiet, except for when skiers would come through with their loud boots on. But the food was excellent and the fire was nice.“

“A true hidden gem! Though the menu may be on the slightly smaller side, the portion sizes are good, and everything is fresh and tastes amazing. It’s obvious that the owner (who is super sweet) has a passion for cooking and making high quality meals. The chicken banh mi sandwich and the bowl are personal favorites, as well as the Hawaiian Pork Bowl, Thanksgiving sandwich ….and of course the (to-die-for…) chocolate chip cookies.“

“OSA is hands down the best restaurant in CT. Everything about this place is 11 out of 10. The service is impeccable, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks are out of this world. The food is like nothing else. We had the ricotta and it was bursting with flavor. Honey, salt, roasted garlic and chives with sourdough. Yum. I had the 15 day aged corned beef and it was hands down the best I’ve had ever and I’m a Harp! Bartender as always is the best he’s always angling for you to try one of his libations and he won’t let you go till you do: OSA is the best CT restaurant. If you’re listening Michelin give them a star…or two!!!!“

“Nice place for a morning. Great food, good service, good atmosphere. I ordered a hot chocolate (not a coffee guy), a Belgium waffle, and a side of bacon. All of that food was amazing and I highly recommend this place if you're bored and hungry in the morning! Good cafe!“

“Best Irish Pub Restaurant in the state. Food is outstanding, atmosphere is green, staff is wonderful. Art and MaryEllen do a stand up job, from appetizers, chilli, wings, onion soup. To the entres, sirloin rib tips, to deserts bread pudding. Place is amazing.Parking: No issues“

“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. “Haven't been here in a long time. Happened to be in area and just had to go. Place is a staple in CT. Went with a double steamed chesse burger LTM ONION & spicy mustard to get my fix. Didn't disappoint either did the cute lady keeping them coming out fast to get you out quick on a work day. I'll be back but just going single chesse burger.“

“We just did take out and it was great! My husband had the salmon, I had the short ribs and we got an order of the hush puppies. Everything was hot and tasted great at home. We also had an order of the cheesecake egg rolls which were a great sweet treat. Definitely will be back!“
