“Was seriously blown away by the food here, small unassuming place from the outside but the cutest, family-owned spot. Super super delicious vegan Caribbean-style food, we got the 7 options plate and shared between 3 people. We had the jerk tofu, curried tofu, curried chickpeas, sweet potato, stewed eggplant, green beans, and plantains. Everything was AMAZING! The jerk tofu was a standout, but the sweet potatoes and dirtier chickpea were awesome too!!“

“Visited this establishment on 4-11-24 based on the rave reviews, and I must admit, the food was delicious. I had a large jerk chicken dinner and was concerned that my eyes were bigger than my stomach, based on the large portion of food I received. The chicken was nice and moist and perfectly seasoned. I didn’t get the jerk sauce on the dinner, I requested it on the side. I must admit that I did not use the sauce because the chicken was succulent all by itself. The rice and peas and cabbage were also good. I don’t normally eat Jamaican patties because the breading is too thick. I bought a patty and ate it on the way home. I was mad at myself for not tasting it prior to leaving the establishment because I wanted another one. ?The breading was nice and thin and the filling was delicious. Needless to say I had plenty leftover food for later. I will be patronizing this restaurant regularly. I look forward to trying other dishes on their menu. Hands down, one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve ever had.“

“This place was absolutely amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken with jollof rice and it was so delicious. My friends ordered the goat egusi with fufu and said it was also so good. Our waitress even taught them how to eat it because they never had it before and she was so nice in general. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food and quality service!“

“We live about 30 mins away and wanted to try a Bridgeport Caribbean Restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of google reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large food portions could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids. We ordered the escovitch fish, curry goat and brown stew chicken. All were extremely tasty. I must also note that the curry goat was mostly meaty unlike most places that give mostly bones. Thank you, we'll be back.Dietary restrictions: They have good nondairy options for starches. The food is very tasty and plentiful.“

“I personally took the trip 45 minutes away to get the oxtails from this place but last Friday I went there and I ordered my usual but I got the Rasta pasta I added shrimp omg I ate it the next day it still was fantastic I recommend everyone who lives here to eat there and plus there friendly.“

“I haven't been here in years so maybe the cook is different . I see a lot of bad reviews up here! But I used to go here every single day on my way to work. The lunch menu was only $7 !! Sooo good. On Fridays they served seafood out of the bag, I'd always get the spicy one for $40. I wonder why so many bad reviews , maybe they have a new cook or something. I have to go there to see what this about ....“

“I think it's because I'm shy that the owner seemed a little stand-offish, but I have to say her food is amazing. The jerk salmon and rice is the first thing I had and it's going to be my go-to dish. The restaurant is clean, it has a very modern cozy look to it with lots of light coming in. It's bright, spacious and welcoming. People have enough room or their company without feeling awkward about their personal space being invaded. The portions match the price as well. Overall, it's immaculate, people need to go here.“

“I had zero issues with customer service and food! Oxtails was amazing! Rice was just a tad bit on the dry side but still decent to eat. “Amazing experience! The portion was a great size for the price which I always worry about with food trucks. Great amount of meat and it lasted me about two meals. I made the mistake of not getting a drink and it was a little spicy so I got back in line and I'm glad I did! The Hibiscus Sorel was amazing and refreshing. Pretty sweet but a nice treat. I ordered and got my food very quickly. I hope to see the truck again soon!“

“Very Good Home Cooked Food w/ a Delightful Smile by the Woman who took care of my order of J*** pork w/Rice & Peas, Cabbage and Curry Chicken Rice & Peas w/Collard Greens.Dessert was a NO..Dry "older" cake..Carrot Juice was Delish but OVER PRICED. They have $5 lunches which is my reason for buying 2 meals. Lunch and dinner..Nice incentive for working ppl.“
