“This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. I’m a vegetarian newbie who’s grateful for the nutritious, delicious food and the sweet and friendly service at this gem of a place.“

I was so nervous because 1- I’m not from Connecticut so I had no idea where to cater from and 2- I’ve never catered before (I always do my own cooking), I was not disappointed!!! “I tried Ricky’s D Rib Shack today for the first time. His chopped chicken with Mac and Cheese, baked beans and cornbread were delicious! Also, his brisket with potato salad and collard greens were very good too!“
